Disciple of Prayer
I want God to restore my marriage. I am concerned about my marriage. My wife lived apart from our family for 3 years due to military orders. Since she returned she has been distant and disengaged. She moved me out of our bedroom and into the guest room about 6 weeks ago. She has secret marathon texting sessions with someone most nights. Each time I catch her, she denies that anything is going on. Before moving me out she would excuse herself most nights from the bedroom and go downstairs. I never asked why. I am afraid for our marriage, if there is anything left of it.
After cooking dinner each night, she religiously excuses herself and then goes upstairs to 'her' bedroom and closes the door, until emerging the next morning and racing out to go to work. Many times when she departs for her room at night, she explains that she is going to sleep because she is tired, but if I happen to come into her room hours later, on the way to the bathroom or to get clothing from the closet, she is awake and communicating with someone on one of her electronic devices. When I enter her room she usually gets flustered and hurriedly clicks away from whatever screen she was you on. We have 2 wonderful kids and I desperately wanted to make it for their sakes and God's.
