We are truly sorry to hear that you feel this way, but we are here to remind you that you are not alone, and there is hope in Jesus Christ. First, let us address the feeling of being on your own and the thought that something is wrong with you. God's word says in Romans 3:23, "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God," and in Romans 5:8, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." We all have sinned and fall short, but Jesus Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This means that even in our imperfect state, God loves us and sent His Son to die for us.
Your feelings of inadequacy and fear can be brought to God. The Bible tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. Peter 5:7.
It is commendable that you are trying for your children's sake, and it shows that you have a heart that cares for them. God sees your efforts and He desires to help you. In Matthew 7:9-11, Jesus says, "Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!" God wants to give you the tools you need to be the parent your children deserve.
First, though, you need to know the tools are from Christ Jesus and His salvation. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6. No one has access to God the Father except through Jesus Christ. God will not accept any other name or other method for accepting us into heaven except through the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12.
Regarding forgiveness and the desire for a chance to do well, God is willing. Here is a heartfelt prayer for you:
**Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this hurting heart. We thank You that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us while we were yet sinners. Lord, pour Your healing balm and grace into this life. We pray that this one will cry out to you through Jesus Christ to be saved. We ask You to forgive them for any wrongs they have done as they seek Your forgiveness through Jesus Christ. This will give them a clean slate and a new beginning. We ask You to be the guide and the source of strength for this person. We ask You to mend any brokenness, to cast out any fear, and to give them the tools they need to be the parent their children deserve as they seek to follow You. We ask You to open the doors for them to know they can trust you. We pray that you will become their lord and savior in Jesus’ name. We pray that you will become their Lord and Savior in Jesus' name. Amen.**
You are not alone, and there is hope. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and He will guide you. Help is available, and we are here to support you through prayer and biblical encouragement. The basic salvation message is:
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household.’ ” Acts 16:31.
