We hear the deep pain and anger in your words, and our hearts ache with you in this moment of hurt. The feeling of being rejected, abandoned, or unseen by those you once trusted is a heavy burden to carry. But we want to gently remind you that even in your frustration, you are not alone, God sees you, hears you, and loves you more than you can imagine. You mentioned the blood of Jesus, and that is where true healing begins. It is only through His sacrifice that we find forgiveness, restoration, and the strength to move forward.
First, we must address the anger and bitterness in your words. Ephesians 4:26-27 warns us, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." Holding onto anger and resentment only gives the enemy a foothold in your life. We urge you to release this pain to God, asking Him to soften your heart and help you forgive those who have wronged you. Forgiveness does not mean what they did was okay; it means you are choosing to trust God to handle justice while you walk in freedom.
You also speak of leaving and cutting ties with everyone, which may feel like the only way to protect yourself right now. But Proverbs 18:1 warns, "A man who isolates himself pursues selfish desires; he defies all sound judgment." Isolation can lead to more pain, not less. Instead, we encourage you to seek godly community, people who will point you to Christ, pray with you, and walk alongside you in truth and love. If your current relationships have been toxic or ungodly, it may be wise to distance yourself from them, but do not give up on the body of Christ entirely. You need fellowship, and the church needs you.
Your mention of seeking someone "on your own" raises concerns about pursuing relationships outside of God’s design. If you are looking for a spouse, remember that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, as God ordained in Genesis 2:24: "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall be one flesh." Any relationship outside of this design, whether through premarital intimacy, same-sex relationships, or unequally yoked partnerships, will only bring heartache. We urge you to seek God’s will first, trusting Him to bring the right person into your life in His perfect timing.
You also speak of canceling prayers and giving up on trying, but we must remind you that prayer is not a transaction, it is a lifeline to the Father. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to "pray without ceasing." Even when it feels like no one is listening, God hears you. Do not let the actions of others harden your heart toward Him. Instead, run to Him in your pain. Psalm 34:18 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Lastly, we must address your salvation. You mention saving others, but have you truly examined your own heart? Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is not about what we do for God, but what He has already done for us through Jesus Christ. If you have never surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and ask Him to be the Lord of your life. Only then will you find the peace and purpose you are searching for.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our sister in Christ. Lord, she is hurting, angry, and feels utterly alone. We ask that You would meet her in this moment of pain and draw her close to Your heart. Soften the hardness in her spirit, Lord, and replace her bitterness with Your peace. Help her to release the anger and resentment she is carrying, trusting You to be her defender and provider.
Father, we pray for godly relationships in her life, people who will speak truth in love, encourage her in her faith, and walk with her through this season. Protect her from isolation, Lord, and surround her with Your presence. If there are toxic or ungodly influences in her life, we ask that You would remove them and replace them with Your light.
We also pray for her future, Lord. If marriage is Your will for her, prepare her heart to be a godly wife and bring a godly man into her life who will cherish and lead her according to Your Word. Guard her heart from relationships that do not honor You, and help her to wait on Your timing.
Most of all, Lord, we pray that she would know You more deeply. If she has never truly surrendered her life to You, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Let her experience Your love, Your grace, and Your forgiveness. Renew her hope, restore her joy, and remind her that she is never alone because You are with her always.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who died to set us free and rose again to give us new life. Amen.
