Thank god for Jesus and the word. I stand on the scripture “ I shall live and shall not die to see the goodness of the lord in the land of the living” not just for petitioning but to be drawn closer each day with gratitude I am grateful and excited for how the lord has been working in me during my light afflictions. I have oh god learned patience perseverance and a growing faith and dependence on the lord I never in a few years ever imagined what he has brought me through. Glory glory I have turned my life over to Christ since ### and believe me I have witnessed and experienced his mercy grace and favor from then until now. The situations don’t feel as harsh now as I still wait for further manifesting of petitioning. God what I do without the lord? I so do not intend or want to find out all honour and glory to Jesus my savior and ABBA the father I have prayer partners including your ministry that holds me down whether in or out of a crisis. I am truly grateful in Jesus mighty name amen

We rejoice with you in the goodness of the Lord and the work He is doing in your life! Your declaration of faith, "I shall live and not die, and declare the works of Yahweh" (Psalm 118:17), is a powerful testimony of trust in God’s promises. It is evident that you have grown in patience, perseverance, and dependence on Him through your trials, and we give all glory to Jesus Christ for His faithfulness in your life.

The Word of God assures us that "we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope" (Romans 5:3-4). Your light afflictions are not in vain, for they are shaping you into the image of Christ and preparing you for the goodness He has stored up for you in the land of the living. We stand with you in gratitude for His mercy, grace, and favor, which have sustained you since the day you surrendered your life to Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We thank You for the work You are doing in the life of Your child, for the patience, perseverance, and faith that have grown through trials. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You continue to draw them closer to You each day, filling them with gratitude and joy as they wait for the manifestation of Your promises. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your goodness in every area of their life. May they never lean on their own understanding but trust in You with all their heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray for their prayer partners and this ministry, that You would use us all to encourage and uplift one another in Christ. Father, we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon them, blessings that they cannot contain. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We give You all the honor, glory, and praise, for You alone are worthy. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word, for "faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Your excitement and gratitude are a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life, and we are confident that God will continue to move on your behalf. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that "those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).

If there are specific areas where you are still waiting for breakthrough, we encourage you to bring them before the Lord in prayer, trusting that He hears you and will answer in His perfect timing. Do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We notice you said the situations don’t feel as harsh now, even while you’re still waiting for the full answer you’ve been seeking. That itself is evidence of His mercy, not because the circumstance has shifted yet, but because your heart has. Gratitude does something powerful there. It’s not just a polite response; it actually calms the mind and reminds us we haven’t been left to handle things alone. Your thankfulness is actively strengthening your faith even as you keep standing.

So here’s a simple thing that might deepen what’s already happening: sometime this week, tell one of your prayer partners a specific way you’ve seen God at work. Name the mercy, name the change. Putting words to it out loud can cement your own hope and become a gift to someone else who might be in a harder spot.

What a joy to read such an overflow of gratitude and holy confidence! You stand upon that blessed Scripture, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord,” and you do well to rest your whole weight there. Faith is the great holdfast that hooks a soul on to the Savior, and I perceive that you have fastened yourself to Him with cords of gracious dependence. It is no small matter when light afflictions, which indeed are light when weighed against the eternal weight of glory, become the schoolroom of patience, perseverance, and growing faith. You have learned what it is to wait only upon God, and you have discovered that while you wait, He has been all the while waiting to be gracious unto you. Did you cause the Lord to wait for you in days past? Then let not a waiting season seem long, for He is no debtor to your patience, but repays the years the locust hath eaten with the fatness of His house.

Your word thrills with a blessed resolve: you mean never to let go of Christ. That is well, for without faith it is impossible to please God. Yet, remember, your holding on is but the feeble hand of a child; the strength is in the Mighty One who holds you. Despair of holding on yourself, and let your reliance be fixed entire upon Him. He has begun a good work in you, and He will carry it on, not one of His sheep shall ever perish, neither shall any pluck them out of His hand. You are not merely in His heart, but in His hands, and there you may rest as securely as the stars rest upon nothing yet are upheld by His power.

Let your soul continue to wait only upon God; your expectation is from Him. Walk by faith, not by sight, for faith shines best in the dark and leans hardest upon the Beloved when every earthly prop is removed. Cling to Christ with holy boldness and say, “I will not let Thee go except Thou bless me.” What a wonder that such clinging delights Him! He loves faith because it gives Him a hearty welcome, and even in the face of a frown, faith perceives the love in His heart. Go on, then, as you have begun, giving all honour and glory to Jesus your Savior and to your Father in heaven. The prayer partners and the ministry that uphold you are but channels of that same grace which flows from the Throne, and it is well to be grateful for them. But fix your eye above all on the Giver, who performeth all things for you. To Him be glory, now and forever. Amen.

You have spoken well, giving thanks and glory to God for the light afflictions He has used to draw you nearer. This is itself a great work of grace, for in truth it is not every one who learns patience and perseverance through sorrows, but only those who receive them as from a Father’s hand. For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and every righteous person must pass through affliction; the narrow way alone leads to life, and to enter it is to be trained for the kingdom.

Yet while you stand on the scripture promise, and rightly so, do not let the confidence of the promise make you remiss. Take heed: the promise itself does not effect the whole; patient waiting is needed, else faintheartedness may thwart it. Even Abraham, after he had patiently endured, obtained the promise. God is faithful, but He requires of us a perseverance that does not grow weary in the time of waiting, nor despair when the full manifestation seems delayed. The affliction that now feels lighter is still the very tool by which salvation is worked in you, and your own patient enduring of it makes you a partner in that work.

Be comforted, then, and do not let the remaining petitions unsettle you. To be anxious about the morrow is to add a fresh affliction to the day’s trouble. But you have already tasted the Lord’s mercy and favor, and that is the surest anchor. Fix your study not on when the relief will come, but on how you may attract His grace yet more, for if God be for us, who can be against us? Continue in this grateful spirit, for he that confesses thanks to God for what he suffers will never seek his own revenge on circumstances or grow bitter. That very gratitude is a shield. You are not alone; your prayer partners hold you up, and this too is God’s comfort working through His body. Hold fast the patience of Christ, who endured all things for you, and wait for Him with a ready heart. Your hope is steadfast, for He who promised is faithful.

What a joy to read your words. There is a strength in them that does not come from wishful thinking but from a soul anchored in the promises of God. You are standing on that Psalm, and rightfully so, because the life God gives is not merely a future hope but a present reality where we see His goodness even while trials remain. That is the fruit of patience that the Spirit cultivates in us.

You mentioned patience, perseverance, and a growing dependence on the Lord. Do not despise the season of waiting. It is not an accident or a delay in God’s purposes. He is never in a hurry, yet He is always right on time. Think of Abraham, who through faith and patience inherited the promise. For years, nothing seemed to happen, but God was working. In the waiting, Abraham was being shaped. So it is with you. The light afflictions, as you called them, are the very tools He uses to establish your heart unshakeable before Him. You are learning what it means to let patience have its perfect work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.

The promise you are holding onto is not a fragile thing. God cannot lie. He has confirmed His word with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things, we might have strong consolation, a refuge to flee to when doubts or fears press in. You have fled there, and you are finding Him faithful. That is exactly how hope abounds. It does not come from a problem-free life, but from the Holy Spirit taking the written Word and making it alive in your heart, reminding you that this treasure is yours in Christ. And what a treasure it is. We carry it in earthen vessels, fragile and cracked, so that the surpassing greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.

You are not waiting alone. The body of Christ holds you up in prayer, just as you have prayer partners who stand with you. That is the church ministering to one another in love, receiving one another as Christ received us. And as you wait, remember that God’s patience is not only for your growth but for His wider purposes. Peter tells us that His apparent delay is actually mercy, not willing that any should perish. So while you wait for the full manifestation of your petitions, you are also a witness of His grace to others. Your life, surrendered to Christ, is a living testimony that His grace is not in vain.

Continue to flee to the Scriptures. They are written for your patience and comfort. When you see how God dealt with His people across generations, always coming through, always fulfilling His word, your own heart is strengthened. You have tasted and seen that God is good, and that is a gift that nothing in this world can match. So keep standing on that promise. Keep giving thanks. The day is coming when this corruption puts on incorruption, and every shadow will flee. Until then, He is with you, keeping you, and making His strength perfect in your weakness. He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
