DELIVERANCE FROM THE GAME EVE
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ and according to Your Word, I believe in my heart and say with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord of my life. Since all truth is in Jesus, I strip myself of my former nature — put off and discard any old unrenewed self. I desire to be free from the addiction of this game called EVE, in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, this addiction is not helpful, healthy — good for me, expedient, or profitable. I no longer desire to be a slave of this game nor to waste any more time playing it. I no longer want to isolate my self from my wife Jeannie because of my addiction to this game. I no longer want this game to control my life or be hindrance to my marriage.
Father, I repent of this addiction I have to the game EVE and ask you to forgive me. I no longer desire for this addiction to control my life. Deliver me from the power of this addiction and help me get back to a normal and wholesome life. Father, Your Word exposes the wrong thought patterns that are driving me to continually act out in ways that are contrary to Your Word. I desire to be continually filled with and controlled by Your Holy Spirit.
With every temptation I choose the way of escape that You, Jesus, provided by Your shed blood on the Cross. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). I strip away the old nature with its habits and addictions and I put on the new man created in Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 5:17). Thank you Lord for delivering me, loving me & setting me free. Who the Son sets free, is free indeed! (John 8:36)
