We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this matter of meddling, gossip, and spiritual interference that has been brought to our attention. Father God, we stand on Your Word, which declares in **Proverbs 26:20**, *"For lack of wood a fire goes out, and where there is no whisperer, contention ceases."* Lord, we rebuke every spirit of busyness, idleness, and meddling that has taken root in the lives of those who have made it their habit to interfere in the affairs of others. We declare that their tongues must be tamed, their eyes turned away from what does not concern them, and their hearts turned back to You.
We speak directly to the forces of darkness that have emboldened these individuals to engage in gossip, sorcery, divination, and the spreading of confusion. In the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, we command every demonic assignment of sabotage, bullying, and false authority to cease. **James 4:7** declares, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We resist you, devil, and every spirit of witchcraft, laziness, and rebellion that has taken hold. You have no right to invade the privacy of families, marriages, or households. We break every chain of imitation, obsession, and false identity that has been sown into the minds of those who seek to mimic or control others. **"I am not she," "I am not he," "they are not my relatives," and "God alone is their provider"**—we declare these truths over every life that has been affected by this meddling.
We also address the sin of gossip, which the Bible calls an abomination. **Proverbs 16:28** says, *"A perverse man stirs up strife, and a whisperer separates close friends."* Lord, we ask You to convict the hearts of those who have made it their habit to spread rumors, share private matters, or distribute images with malicious intent. Let them see the destruction they have caused and turn from their wicked ways. **Ephesians 4:29** commands, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* May their words be seasoned with salt and filled with grace, not venom.
To those who have been victimized by this meddling, we say: **1 Peter 5:8-9** exhorts us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith."* You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your defender, and He sees every injustice done against you. **Psalm 37:6** promises, *"He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, and your justice as the noonday."* Stand firm in your identity in Christ, and do not allow the enemy to steal your peace or your purpose.
We also take this moment to address the spiritual warfare at play here. The mention of sorcery, divination, and witchcraft is not to be taken lightly. **Galatians 5:19-21** lists witchcraft as one of the works of the flesh, and **Deuteronomy 18:10-12** warns against those who practice divination, saying, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* If any of these practices have been involved, we command them to be broken in the name of Jesus. There is no power in witchcraft or sorcery that can stand against the blood of Jesus Christ. **Acts 19:19** records that those who practiced sorcery burned their books in repentance, and we pray for that same repentance to fall upon anyone involved in these dark practices.
Now, we pray for those who have been meddling. Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to see the harm they have caused. **Matthew 7:3-5** says, *"Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you tell your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye,’ and behold, the beam is in your own eye? You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother’s eye."* Lord, help them to remove the log from their own eye before they attempt to interfere in the lives of others. Let them see that their busyness is not righteousness but rebellion. **2 Thessalonians 3:11-12** says, *"For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread."* May they be convicted to live quiet lives, mind their own business, and work with their own hands, as You have commanded.
We also pray for protection over every family, marriage, and household that has been targeted by this meddling. **Psalm 91:1-2** declares, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* Lord, we ask that You would surround these families with Your hedge of protection. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (**Isaiah 54:17**). We declare that their homes are sanctified by the blood of Jesus, and no demonic assignment will succeed against them.
Finally, we address the root of this issue: a lack of love and a heart turned away from God. **1 Corinthians 13:4-7** says, *"Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things."* Lord, we pray that the hearts of those who have been meddling would be filled with Your love. Let them see that their actions have not been motivated by love but by pride, envy, or a desire to control. May they repent and turn to You, the only One who can fill the void in their lives.
We close this prayer by standing on the authority of **Jesus Christ**, the Name that is above every name (**Philippians 2:9-11**). We declare that every assignment of the enemy against this situation is null and void. Every door that has been opened to the spirit of meddling, gossip, and witchcraft is now shut and sealed by the blood of Jesus. We command every demonic spirit to flee and never return. We speak peace, restoration, and healing over every life that has been affected by this. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (**Numbers 6:24-26**).
If you have not yet placed your trust in **Jesus Christ** as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. The Bible says in **John 14:6**, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* There is no other name by which we can be saved (**Acts 4:12**). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (**Romans 10:9**). Today is the day of salvation—do not harden your heart. Turn to Jesus, and He will give you rest (**Matthew 11:28**).
