Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and improvement the Lord has already brought into your life! It is by His grace and power alone that these chains are being broken, and we give all glory, honor, and thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for His faithfulness in your walk. Your heart’s cry for lasting transformation is one that aligns with God’s will, for He desires that we be holy as He is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16). Let us stand together in prayer and in the truth of Scripture to see this battle won completely, for the glory of God.

The struggle you face is one that many believers encounter, but take heart—Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and through Him, you too can walk in freedom. The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* This promise is for you today. The Lord will provide the strength, wisdom, and escape you need to resist these sins, but you must remain vigilant, surrendered, and dependent on Him.

First, we must address the root of these struggles. Sexual sin, including pornography, masturbation, and flirtation, often stems from a heart that is not fully satisfied in Christ. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:28, *"But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."* This is a serious matter, but it is not beyond the reach of God’s redemption. Repentance is the first step, and you have already begun that journey. Now, we must ask the Lord to renew your mind and replace these lustful thoughts with His truth. Romans 12:2 commands us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* This renewal comes through immersing yourself in Scripture, prayer, and worship. Fill your mind with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8), and starve the flesh of its sinful desires.

We also encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and eyes. This may include installing accountability software on your devices, avoiding situations or media that trigger temptation, and surrounding yourself with brothers in Christ who can encourage and hold you accountable. James 5:16 tells us, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Do not walk this path alone—seek out godly men who can stand with you in this fight.

Additionally, we must address the issue of flirting, which can easily lead to emotional and physical compromise. Flirting outside of the context of a godly courtship with the intent of marriage is dangerous and can stir up lust in yourself and others. Proverbs 6:27-28 warns, *"Can a man scoop fire into his lap, and his clothes not be burned? Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?"* Guard your interactions with the opposite sex, ensuring that they honor God and reflect purity, respect, and self-control. If you are not in a courtship with the intent of marriage, it is wise to avoid behavior that could lead to temptation or give the wrong impression.

Lastly, we must emphasize the power of the Holy Spirit in this battle. Galatians 5:16-17 says, *"But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire."* You cannot overcome these sins in your own strength, but through the Holy Spirit, you can crucify the flesh and walk in victory. Spend time in prayer, asking the Lord to fill you afresh with His Spirit, to give you a heart that longs for Him above all else.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks lasting freedom from the sins that have ensnared him. Lord, we thank You for the progress You have already brought into his life, and we ask for complete and lasting deliverance. Father, You know the depths of his struggle, and You alone can break these chains. We ask that You renew his mind by Your Word, that You would wash him clean by the blood of Jesus and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Give him the wisdom to flee from temptation and the strength to resist the enemy’s lies.

Lord, we pray that You would surround him with godly brothers who can encourage, pray for, and hold him accountable. Help him to take practical steps to guard his heart and eyes, and give him a deep hunger for Your presence that surpasses any fleeting pleasure of the flesh. Father, we rebuke the spirit of lust and impurity in the name of Jesus, and we declare that our brother is a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), called to walk in holiness and purity.

We ask for Your mercy and grace to sustain him, Lord. Speak to his heart and remind him of Your love and faithfulness. Let him know that he is not defined by his struggles but by Your redemption. Strengthen him to persevere, and let this season of testing become a testimony of Your power and faithfulness.

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world and given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). May Your will be done in his life, for Your glory alone. Amen.

Brother, continue to press into the Lord with all your heart. The battle is real, but the victory is already won in Christ. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest of righteousness if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We are standing with you in prayer, believing that the Lord will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Stay rooted in His Word, seek His face daily, and trust that He who began this work in you will bring it to completion. You are not alone—we are with you, and most importantly, Jesus is with you always (Matthew 28:20).

Dear friend,

We're right there with you, praying for complete freedom and transformation. We're so encouraged by the progress you've already made, and we believe that God is not done with you yet! Let's keep pressing in together.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face daily, spending time in His Word and in prayer. As you do, ask Him to reveal any root issues that might be contributing to these struggles. Remember, it's not just about avoiding sin, but also about being filled with more of God's love and presence.

We also want to remind you of the power of community. Find some trusted brothers or sisters in Christ who can hold you accountable, pray with you, and encourage you along the way. You don't have to fight this battle alone.

Let's keep praying for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend who is seeking lasting freedom from sexual sin. We thank You for the progress he's already made, and we ask for complete deliverance. Lord, reveal any root issues and give him the wisdom to address them. Fill him afresh with Your Holy Spirit, giving him a heart that longs for You above all else. Surround him with godly friends who can encourage, pray for, and hold him accountable. Help him to take practical steps to guard his heart and eyes. Father, we declare that our friend is a new creation in Christ, called to walk in holiness and purity. We ask for Your mercy and grace to sustain him, Lord. Speak to his heart, remind him of Your love and faithfulness, and strengthen him to persevere. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting in God's faithfulness, and remember that He who began this good work in you will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6). You're not alone in this fight - we're standing with you, and Jesus is with you always (Matthew 28:20). Keep pressing in, friend!
