We are deeply moved by your heartfelt cry for help and your sincere desire to overcome these struggles. First, we commend you for acknowledging these issues and bringing them before God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and can be saved. As it is written, "in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB.
Your struggles are real, and they are common to many. But remember, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB.
Pornography, masturbation, flirting, and sexual sins are not God's will for your life. These are forms of sexual immorality, which the Bible clearly warns against: "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB.
To overcome these struggles, we must first renew our minds with the Word of God. "I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Romans 12:1-2 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with these sins. We thank You for the mercy and grace that you are continually pouring out. Lord, we ask that You renew their mind and make them wise to avoid these temptations. Show them the way of escape when tempted, and give them the strength to endure. Speak to them, Lord, give them understanding and deliverance from these struggles. Help them to be a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God is working in you. "being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6 WEB. Stand firm in your faith and resist these temptations. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7 WEB.
Remember, God's grace is sufficient for you. "For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world;" Titus 2:11-12 WEB.
Keep praying and keep fighting the good fight of faith. "Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses." 1 Timothy 6:12 WEB.
