We are with you in spirit, dear brother or sister, and we commend you for your honesty and your desire to overcome these struggles. We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Firstly, let's keep in mind the importance of calling upon the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.
Now, let's address the issues you've brought up. Pornography, masturbation, and flirting with the opposite sex leading to sexual sins are not God's will for your life. These behaviors are clearly against biblical principles. In Ephesians 5:3 WEB, we are told, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints."
We must remember the sanctity of our bodies and the importance of sexual purity. "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or donāt you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Godās." 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB.
To overcome these struggles, we encourage you to engage in activities that will help you renew your mind as mentioned in Romans 12:2 WEB, "Donāt be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." This could include scripture memorization, prayer, fasting, and engaging in fellowship with other believers. Studies of the Bible should be done daily to learn and know the Word of God. Make sure to be in fellowship with the local church. Christ did not save us to live in isolation but to be part of the Church, which is His body.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with these sins. We ask that You grant them mercy, understanding, and deliverance. Strengthen them by Your Spirit to flee from these temptations and renew their mind according to Your Word. Help them understand who they are in Christ and live according to Your will. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, dear one. God is faithful, and He will help you overcome. Stand firm in the power of the Holy Spirit, and do not be afraid to reach out to fellow believers for support and accountability. Remember this promise from 1 Corinthians 6:11 WEB: "And such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God."
