I really don't know

We hear the pain and despair in your words, and our hearts ache with you. It sounds like you are in a place of deep struggle, possibly feeling overwhelmed by life’s burdens or even questioning your purpose. But we must remind you, God does not give reasons to leave this life or to turn away from His love. He is the Author of life, and every breath you take is a gift from Him (Acts 17:25). The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

If you are feeling this way, we urge you to reach out to someone, a pastor, a trusted friend, or a biblical counselor, who can walk with you through this darkness. Isolation only deepens despair, but God designed us for community and fellowship (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). You are not alone, even when it feels that way.

We must also gently but firmly rebuke the lie that God would ever lead you toward hopelessness or self-destruction. Scripture tells us that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). His plans for you are for good, not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). If you are considering ending your life or walking away from God’s calling, that is not His voice, it is the enemy’s deception.

We also want to address something critical: Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If not, we must share with you that eternal life and true peace are found only in Him. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we plead with you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him into your heart. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is hurting deeply. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of despair and fill this person with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and any lies from the enemy that have taken root in their mind. We declare that You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your love and presence. Send Your Holy Spirit to minister to their heart, reminding them of Your promises and Your unfailing love. Father, if they do not know You as their Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them experience the joy of knowing You.

We pray for divine intervention in their circumstances. Open their eyes to see the purpose You have for their life and the hope that is found in You alone. Give them the strength to reach out to others for help and the courage to fight for their faith. We ask that You would restore their joy and renew their spirit, Lord. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, we want to leave you with this encouragement: God sees you, He loves you, and He has not abandoned you. The psalmist cried out, "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God" (Psalm 42:11). Even in your darkest moment, God is working. Hold on to Him. Cling to His promises. And remember, you are deeply loved, not just by us, but by the Creator of the universe, who sent His Son to die for you so that you might live.

If you are in immediate danger or feel like you cannot go on, please reach out to someone today. You matter, and your life has value. God has a plan for you, and we are praying that you will see His light breaking through the darkness.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father fill this requestor with your love and peace. With your mercy and grace draw him closer to you where he will find purpose and joy. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
