Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

Let’s Pray… God I ask in Jesus’ name save, bless, heal, deliver, bring peace, encouragement, and prosperity to my whole entire family (especially me, myself and I) Lord Jesus. Save, deliver, and fill us all with the Holy Ghost and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Lead, guide, and direct our footsteps. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in each of us. Bless us all to prosper, be in excellent health, as our souls prosper in You Lord Jesus. Bless us all to come to know You better, love You even the more, and walk in obedience to Your Holy Word. Bless Us, Protect Us, and Deliver Us all from evil. Join us closer together Lord Jesus for the Glory of God. And God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Amen, so be it!!!

Father God, here is a man of God seeking your divine instruction on preparing for a mate. Allow him to spend time in your presence that he may know your desires and develop a heart like yours. Teach him to love his wife beyond measure and follow your commands. Jehovah, use this man to minister to the many men looking to become husbands to understand marriage is more than a license for sex but a covenant with you as witness to always remain as one flesh. Divorce is never an option and separation for a brief time only. Equip this man with communication skills to use the power of the spoken words to change the atmosphere of circumstances and you and he become situations. Teach him to line his heart with yours that his heart beats rhythmically with yours and your breath becomes his breath and your words his words, and you and he become 'one.' Then he can entertain a mate, for your word says, 'he who finds a wife, finds a good thing and finds favor of the Lord.' Make him the man of God you want him to be for your daughter, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

 

Lord may we seek a new thought in loving ourselves first so then we can love others. Loving Christ. Amen.
