We stand with you in the shadow of the Almighty, where no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your refuge and fortress. The fear and distress you feel are real, but we declare that God’s protection is even more real. The psalmist wrote, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart"* (Psalm 91:1-4). You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord goes before you and stands behind you.
We rebuke every evil plan, every whispered threat, and every scheme of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible assures us, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy may plot, but God will turn their plans into confusion and their words into nothing. We declare that their tongues will be silenced, and their hands will be stayed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We also lift up your heart before the Lord, asking Him to guard your mind from fear and anxiety. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, but Jesus said, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful"* (John 14:27). We pray that you would walk in this divine peace, knowing that God is your defender. Do not let the words of your enemies take root in your heart, for their words have no power unless you give them power. Instead, fill your mind with the truth of God’s Word, which says, *"The Lord is on my side. I will not fear. What can man do to me?"* (Psalm 118:6).
We encourage you to draw near to God in this time, seeking His face through prayer, fasting, and the reading of His Word. The closer you are to Him, the more you will experience His protection and peace. Remember, *"The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; the righteous run to him, and are safe"* (Proverbs 18:10). Call upon His name continually, for there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain and silence every lying tongue.
Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is feeling surrounded by enemies and threatened by evil plans. Lord, You are the God who sees and the God who delivers. We ask that You would arise and scatter every enemy that rises against them. Let Your angels encamp around them, protecting them from every harm and danger. Silence the mouths of those who speak evil and confuse the plans of those who seek to do harm. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.
Father, we ask that You would fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their mind from fear and anxiety, and let them rest in the assurance of Your protection. Help them to draw near to You, to seek Your face, and to trust in Your unfailing love. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their ever-present help in times of trouble. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with them.
We also pray for their enemies, Lord. We ask that You would soften their hearts and turn them from their wicked ways. Let them see the error of their ways and come to repentance. If it be Your will, Lord, turn their hearts toward You so that they may no longer be instruments of harm but vessels of Your love and peace.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Him who loves them. May they walk in the fullness of Your protection and experience Your peace that guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
