I pray for my eldest child that ### will ...

I pray for my eldest child that she will be able to bounce back in her studies. She used to be in the top 5 before but now I don't know anymore. Sad thing, she's not even a favorite. She's a shy type of person that she's misinterpreted as aloof, snob. Sometimes, they thought of her as miss-know-it-all because she knew a lot of stuff from reading. Is it her fault then if she's a wide reader? I've seen her struggles yet she's never noticed. If she won a contest, she did it on her own (of course I helped a little) but not by bribing teachers with gifts. I even felt sad lately upon learning she wasn't included in their upcoming math competition to think she won in another math competition last year. I was surprised to read some names but she was not included. I know I should not expect much but I felt disappointed and sad for my daughter. She's been a straight A student since 1st grade and now she's in grade 6 where competitions among students already exist. Worst, the teachers are often bribed by students or parents to give favor to their kids and I ain't gonna do that. And that's why I felt so hurt for my child. I pray Lord that I find acceptance but at the same time, I pray for my daughter and most especially to the teachers to be fair. I know Lord You know that I am now losing faith especially that my family is going through a lot these days. Please spare my eldest child. Help her regain her confidence and strive harder. Give me a little faith, Lord, because I'm already at the losing end...
