We lift up your eldest son before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and provision. Father, we know that You are the God who opens doors that no one can shut and provides for all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Your Word assures us that those who seek You lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10), and we claim this promise over your son’s life today.
Lord, we ask that You would remove every spirit of frustration and discouragement from him. Remind him that his worth is not found in his employment status but in the fact that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Strengthen his faith to trust in You, knowing that You have plans for him, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We rebuke any lies from the enemy that seek to make him doubt Your goodness or his calling. Let him rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for his good, even when he cannot see it (Romans 8:28).
Father, we pray for divine favor and connections in his job search. Open the right doors for him, positions that will not only meet his financial needs but also allow him to use his gifts and education for Your glory. Give him wisdom in interviews, clarity in his applications, and perseverance to keep pressing forward even when the process feels overwhelming. We declare that he will not grow weary in doing good, for in due season he will reap if he does not give up (Galatians 6:9).
We also encourage him to seek You first in this season, not just for provision but for direction. May he delight himself in You, and You will give him the desires of his heart (Psalm 37:4). If there are areas where he needs to grow, whether in skills, humility, or patience, soften his heart to receive correction and guidance from You and from wise counselors in his life.
Lastly, we pray for your peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May he cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for the miracle of provision that is already on its way. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
