We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your sister’s daughter in fervent prayer. Father God, we cry out to You in this moment of distress, knowing that You are the Great Physician, the One who holds life and death in Your hands. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to bring healing—whether in an instant or through the hands of the doctors You have appointed.
Lord, we also bring before You the financial burden that weighs on this family. You know their needs even before they ask, and You have promised in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We ask that You would open doors of provision, soften the hearts of those who can help, and remove the fear of lack. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Now, we must address something critical in this request. While we join you in pleading for healing, we must also remind ourselves and all who read this that true healing—eternal healing—comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If this family does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw them to Him. Without Christ, there is no lasting hope, no true peace, and no assurance of eternal life. We urge you, if you have not already, to share the Gospel with them—that Jesus died for their sins, rose again, and offers forgiveness and everlasting life to all who believe.
We also rebuke any spirit of fear or despair that may be trying to take hold. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare that fear has no place in this situation. Instead, we choose to trust in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You.
Father, we ask for wisdom for the doctors treating her. Guide their hands, sharpen their minds, and let them be instruments of Your healing power. If it is Your will, we pray for a miraculous touch—an instant healing that would bring glory to Your name. But if Your plan is different, give this family the strength to walk through this valley with faith, knowing You are with them.
We also pray for unity in this family. Let this trial draw them closer to You and to one another. May they find comfort in Your presence and in the support of fellow believers.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust You with this precious life, knowing that You love her even more than we do. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.
