We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting you up since you shared about praising God and Jesus around midnight and then walking through such a painful and confusing day, when your morning started well and then your grandmother showed an abnormal anger and you experienced an emotional breakdown.
We want you to know that your midnight praise was precious to the Lord and we do not want you to be discouraged. Scripture reminds us that Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises at midnight and God moved powerfully, Acts 16:25. At the same time we know that after worship there can be spiritual opposition and heaviness, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, Ephesians 6:12, and the enemy often tries to bring discouragement after we draw near to God. This does not mean you did something wrong or that your praise caused this, and unfinished chores alone do not explain such an abnormal outbreak of anger. There may be stress or burdens your grandmother is carrying that you cannot see, and there may be spiritual pressure on your home that needs prayer.
We continue to stand in agreement with you for peace in your home and for healing from that emotional breakdown. We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will guard your heart and mind with His peace that passes all understanding, Philippians 4:7, that He will draw near to you as one who is brokenhearted, Psalm 34:18, that He will bring restoration and calm between you and your grandmother, and that He will turn your midnight praise into lasting joy and strength. We pray in Jesus Name that God will show you His love and remind you that He sees you and cares deeply for you and your family.
