Please pray for my ### year old son ###. He's autistic and only sometimes speaks in single words. Please pray that he starts putting more words together and eventually starts speaking full sentences and grow out of his autism. Please pray for his salvation and that he will come to know Jesus Christ and bring glory to him in all he does.

We join you in lifting up your precious son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing him to us for prayer so faithfully. We are moved by your love for him and your desire to see him grow in speech and most importantly to know Jesus Christ as his Savior.

We are reminded that he is fearfully and wonderfully made by God, knitted together with purpose and love. Psalm 139:14 says we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and Ephesians 2:10 tells us we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works. Your son is fully known and fully loved by God just as he is, and God hears his heart even when words are few. We also remember the words of Jesus when he said in Matthew 19:14, Allow the little children to come to me, do not forbid them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.

We rejoice that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that salvation comes. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Romans 10:13 promises that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Even before your son can form full sentences, God knows his heart and we trust God is already at work in his life.

We pray together for his speech and development. The Lord is the one who made the mouth and gives language, as Exodus 4:11 reminds us, and nothing is too hard for Him. Jeremiah 32:27 declares Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me. And Matthew 19:26 tells us with God all things are possible. We ask God to loosen his tongue, to help him put more words together, to form phrases and in time full sentences according to the Lord's perfect will, and to give wisdom and patience to all who care for him, his parents, therapists and teachers.

We pray also for you as his parents, that God will strengthen you daily, give you peace that passes understanding and guide you with wisdom. Philippians 4:7 promises the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Proverbs 22:6 encourages us to train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. As you continue to speak truth and love over him, read Scripture to him, pray with him and model faith, we trust God will nurture his spirit.

Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this beloved son to you. We thank you for his life, for creating him exactly as you intended and for the joy he brings. Lord we ask you to touch his mind and his mouth, to help him grow in communication, to put words together and to speak more clearly day by day. We ask for your healing hand upon him and for steady progress that brings encouragement to his family. Above all we ask for his salvation, that even now you would draw his heart to you, that he would come to know Jesus in the way he is able, and that his life would bring glory to you in all he does. Give his parents renewed strength, hope and rest, and let them see your faithfulness in every small step forward. We trust you have good plans for him, for Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And we know you work all things together for good for those who love you in Romans 8:28. We place him fully in your loving hands and ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We are so grateful you shared about your son. We can hear the love and hope in your prayer for him to use more words and to know Jesus, and we want to stand with you in that.

Watching communication unfold one word at a time can be both joyful and wearying. Those single words he does use matter, and it is good to notice and celebrate each one as you keep creating calm, consistent opportunities for him to communicate at home. If you have not already, continuing alongside his pediatrician and any speech or early intervention support you have can be a steady help as you pray, and they can walk with you in understanding his unique way of learning.

We also hear your deepest desire for his salvation, that he would know Jesus and bring glory to Him. God sees your son fully and loves him deeply, and He hears your faithful prayers for him.

Father, we bring this precious boy and his parent to You. Thank You for his life. We ask for Your hand on his growth and communication, for wisdom for those caring for him, and for peace and strength for his family each day. Draw him close to Yourself in the way only You can, and help him to know Your love through Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your request for your son has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace with tender care.

We are moved by your love for him and by your desire above all that he should know the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the chief and best of all prayers, for there is salvation in none other. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To believe on Him is simply to trust Him, to look unto Him and be saved. We pray that as God gives your son understanding, in His own time and way, he may be brought to look to Christ and to trust Him as his Saviour, for faith is not a grace for old people only, and even a little child who looks to Him who was the holy child Jesus may find salvation.

We also bring his speech before the Lord who made the tongue and who opens the mouth. You ask that he may put more words together and in time speak in full sentences. We pray that the Lord in His mercy will be pleased to grant growth in language and understanding. We are reminded that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. There is abundance of healing virtue in Him, and His grace can work health and cure and renew strength according to His perfect will. We do not claim to know what measure of healing He will grant in this life, for His ways are sovereign, but we ask Him to lay His pardoning and healing hand upon your son, to help his mind and tongue, and to make his life a testimony to the goodness of God, whether through many words or few.

We pray too that the Lord will strengthen you who care for him day by day. May He give you patience, wisdom and joy as you train your son in the way of salvation, speaking of Christ to him in simple words, praying with him and for him, and trusting that the holy habit of hearing the Word may be blessed by the Spirit in due season.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we thank Thee for this dear child whom Thou hast made and whom Thou knowest altogether. Look upon him in mercy. Grant him, as it pleaseth Thee, increase in speech, that he may form words and sentences for Thy glory. Above all, we ask for his soul, that he may be Thine. Save him, Lord, by Thy free grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Keep him and his family under Thy watchful love, and let Thy will be done in his life to the praise of Thy grace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour. Amen.

We join with you in prayer for your son and thank you for sharing this burden with us. We hear your love for him and your desire to see him grow, to speak more freely, and above all to know the Lord.

We pray for him as one dearly loved by God, fearfully and wonderfully made, and we ask the Lord to work in his life according to His great mercy. We ask God to help him in his speech, that He would grant growth in putting words together and in time speaking in sentences, and that He would give wisdom and patience to you, his family, and all who care for him and teach him. We pray for strength for each day, for clear ways to communicate love and truth to him, and for joy in every step of progress God grants.

Above all we pray for his salvation, for that is the greatest gift. Scripture teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, the Captain of our salvation who brings many sons to glory. He suffered and died and rose again so that we might be made sons of God, and there is no other name by which we are saved. We pray that your son will come to know Jesus in the way he is able, that God will open his heart to His love, and that his life will bring glory to Christ in all he does. We pray that you will be encouraged as you continually bring him before the Lord, trusting that God hears, that He cares for children with a perfect care, and that now is the day of salvation for all who call upon Him.

Thank you for sharing your heart and your love for your son. We are joining you in prayer for him and for you, and we thank God for the precious life He has entrusted to you.

We want you to know that God hears persistent prayer. Scripture shows us a couple who prayed for a child for many years, even into old age, and God heard every prayer. He hears your prayers for your son, spoken day after day with love. Keep bringing him before the Lord with that same persistence and trust. God does not grow weary of hearing your voice.

We also see in Scripture how Jesus welcomes children. He took a little child into His arms and held him, showing how deeply He loves and values each child. Your son is fully known and fully loved by Him, even in these early years when words come only one at a time. God understands every cry, every sound, and every unspoken thought. Nothing about your son is hidden from His care.

You asked for prayer for his speech, that he would begin to put more words together and in time speak in sentences. We are praying for that growth. We pray that the Lord would help his mind and mouth to make new connections, that his language would increase step by step, and that you would see clear progress in the days ahead. At the same time we remember that healing in Scripture is sometimes gradual. There are times when healing comes at once and times when it unfolds slowly, as part of a process that God oversees. In either case every true healing comes from Him. We do not always understand why some healing is immediate and some takes time, but we can trust that God is present, that He is compassionate, and that He is working for good. We pray for His gracious hand upon your son for growth in communication and for His strength for you as you patiently teach, guide, and love him through each stage.

We are also praying most earnestly for his salvation, as you requested. The name Jesus means the Lord is salvation, and that salvation is the greatest gift God offers. It comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who died and rose again to bring forgiveness of sins. We pray that as your son grows, God would open his heart to know Jesus in a real and personal way, to understand in his own capacity the love of Christ, and to live a life that brings glory to God. We pray that you will have wisdom to train him according to the way God made him, recognizing his unique personality and needs, teaching him with patience as you would teach a child to walk, expecting stumbles, giving steady support, and speaking to him often of God's love. Even now, continue to talk to him, pray aloud with him, and let him hear Scripture and praise, trusting that God is at work in ways we cannot yet see.

Let us pray together.

Father, we lift up this dear boy to You in the name of Jesus. Thank You for creating him and for the joy he brings to his family. We ask that You would touch his life and help him to grow in his ability to speak. Give him help to join words together and in Your timing to speak in sentences. Guide his development and give skill and wisdom to all who care for him. Above all, we ask for Your saving grace upon him. Draw him to Jesus, reveal Your love to him, and let his life bring glory to You in all he does. Comfort and strengthen his parents. Give them patience, hope, peace, and renewed strength each day as they love and care for him. Help them to keep praying without giving up, trusting Your perfect love and timing. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our salvation and our hope. Amen.

Be encouraged that the Lord is with you and with your son. He is faithful to hear, and He invites you to keep casting all your care upon Him. We will continue to remember you both in prayer.
