Firstly I want to say I am so sorry for your loss, that is a tremendous thing to deal with especially during the season of festivity and cheer. I need you to not let your tears deter you from praying. If you have to cry while you're praying then do it. I have been there, many times, where I started to pray and the tears just started flowing and my words seemed more like babbles even to my own ears then actual words. But I personally believe when we pray in this state God is even closer than ever before. Even if you have to stop praying aloud and just pray from within as you cry, keep going God will hear you. If you don't have the words, just sit or kneel in the form of prayer and let your pain and anguish out, for He hears the words of our heart and even when you can't make out what you need to say through your pain, He WILL still hear you. Don't give up, and know that in this time He is closer to you than He's ever been before. I pray for your strength and comfort in the Lord this day and forever more. In Jesus name. Amen.
