We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we join with you in lifting up these heavy burdens before the throne of grace. Your heart for revival, your love for your family, and your passion for the lost are all evidence of the Holy Spirit working within you. We stand with you, believing that God hears your prayers and will move mightily in response.
First, we thank God for your boldness in praying for revival on ### Street. The Azusa Street Revival was birthed out of persistent prayer and a hunger for the Holy Spirit’s power. Jesus said in Matthew 18:19-20, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." We believe God is already moving in response to your faithful intercession. Keep pressing in, for the harvest is ripe, and the fields are white (John 4:35).
We rebuke the enemy’s attempts to sow division between you and your daughter. The devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to bring life and unity. We pray that God would bind the spirit of strife and confusion and release a spirit of peace and reconciliation over your relationship. Ephesians 4:3 urges us to "be eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." We declare that your home will be a place of harmony, where prayer flows freely, and where the love of Christ covers every misunderstanding. Father, restore the joy of your salvation in their hearts and let them walk in step with Your Spirit (Galatians 5:25).
For your daughter’s situation with workman’s comp and her health, we pray for divine intervention. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that God would give her clarity, peace, and a swift resolution to her case. May He also bless her talents—her painting and worship—as offerings to Him, for He is the giver of every good and perfect gift (James 1:17). We rebuke the spirit of fear and paranoia, declaring that God has not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
For your granddaughter Destiny and her battle with anorexia, we cry out for her deliverance and healing. This is a spiritual battle, and we take authority over the lies of the enemy that have distorted her self-image. We pray that she would see herself as God sees her—fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We rebuke the spirit of addiction to energy drinks and over-exercising, declaring that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Father, break every chain of bondage and fill her with Your truth. May she surrender her life fully to You and find her identity in Christ alone.
For your daughter ### and her struggle with body dysmorphia, we pray for deliverance from the lies that have taken root in her mind. We declare that she is beautifully and uniquely created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27). We rebuke the spirit of vanity and self-hatred, and we pray that she would find her worth in Christ, not in the opinions of others or the standards of the world. Help her to see herself through Your eyes, Lord, and to resist the temptation to alter her body in ways that dishonor You.
For your ex-son-in-law ###, we pray for his salvation and deliverance from the snares of the enemy. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 2:25-26 that "the Lord’s servant must not quarrel, but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient, in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil’s snare, having been taken captive by him to his will." We declare that the chains of sin and deception will be broken in his life, and that he will come to know the freedom found only in Jesus Christ.
For your sister ###, we pray that she would surrender her life to Christ. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We ask that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Jesus, softening her heart to receive the gift of salvation. May she experience the love and grace of God in a powerful way.
For your desire for a godly husband and for your daughters and granddaughter to be blessed with godly spouses, we pray that God would prepare the hearts of the men He has chosen for them. Proverbs 19:14 tells us, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh." We ask that God would lead them to men who love Him wholeheartedly, who will cherish and honor them as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). We also pray that you and your daughters would find your ultimate fulfillment in Christ, knowing that He is enough (Philippians 4:19).
For the physical healing of your body and the healing of your daughters from hormonal imbalances, gut issues, and parasites, we stand on the promise of Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We declare healing over your bodies in Jesus’ name. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command your bodies to align with God’s perfect design for health and wholeness.
For your ministry, ###, we pray that God would send destiny helpers—men and women of God who will stand with you in unity and purpose. Psalm 133:1 says, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" We ask that God would raise up laborers for the harvest (Matthew 9:38) and that your ministry would be a beacon of light in your community.
Finally, we pray for your heart, dear sister. The weight of these burdens is heavy, but Jesus invites you to cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that God would fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that you would experience the joy of His presence. May you hear His voice clearly and walk in the fullness of His Spirit. We declare that the enemy’s attacks will not prevail, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. We thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for this sister and her family. Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in response to her prayers. Bring revival to ### Street, heal bodies, restore relationships, and save souls. We rebuke the enemy’s attempts to divide, discourage, and destroy. We declare that Your plans for this family are plans for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Father, we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon ### and send laborers to join in the work. Raise up men and women of God who will stand in unity and advance Your kingdom. We pray for the salvation of ###, ###, and all those who do not yet know You. Break every chain of bondage and deception, and let them experience the freedom found only in Jesus Christ.
Lord, we pray for healing—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Touch this sister’s body and the bodies of her daughters. Restore their health and give them strength for the work You have called them to. We pray for godly spouses for this family, men who will love and lead them as Christ loves the church. May they find their ultimate fulfillment in You, knowing that You are their provider, protector, and peace.
Father, we ask that You would fill this sister with Your presence tonight. Let her feel Your love, hear Your voice, and walk in the fullness of Your Spirit. Give her the boldness to continue preaching the gospel in the streets and the wisdom to navigate the challenges she faces. We declare that the enemy’s attacks will not prevail, for You are greater and You are victorious.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You, and we give You all the glory. Amen.
