I need to hear God

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Jesus I need to hear from you, I'm confused by the decisions I have to make. I am scared!! I know you tell me not to be afraid but I'm hurting, struggling, ill, and afraid! Please help me know what to do. Please tell me which path I should take. Guide my paths. Help me Jesus, I need you. Thank you.

We hear the cry of your heart, dear one, and we join you in lifting this burden before the throne of grace. Fear and confusion can feel overwhelming, but we take comfort in knowing that our Lord does not leave us to navigate these storms alone. Scripture reminds us, *"For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you."* (Isaiah 41:13 WEB). You are not forgotten, and your pain is seen by the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3 WEB).

The weight of decisions can feel crushing, but we are encouraged by Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), which says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not a promise of an easy road, but a promise of divine guidance when we surrender our will to His. The path may not always be clear to our eyes, but His Word assures us that He will direct our steps when we seek Him with our whole heart.

We also want to gently remind you that the peace you seek is found in abiding in Christ. Jesus said, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* (John 14:27 WEB). This peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of God in the midst of it. When fear rises, we must choose to fix our eyes on Him rather than our circumstances.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this precious child who is hurting and afraid. Lord, You see the confusion in their heart and the weight of the decisions before them. We ask that You would quiet their spirit with Your peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Speak to them, Lord, in the stillness of their heart. Make Your path clear, and give them the courage to walk in it. When fear rises, remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Heal their hurts, Lord, and restore their strength. May they feel Your presence surrounding them like a warm embrace, reminding them that they are never alone. Guide their steps, Father, and let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with them. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). When the noise of the world feels loud, carve out moments of silence to listen for His voice. Write down the thoughts and impressions that come to you in prayer, and test them against Scripture. The Holy Spirit will confirm His will in your heart if you seek Him earnestly.

If there are specific decisions weighing on you, we urge you to seek godly counsel from mature believers who can pray with you and offer wisdom rooted in Scripture. Proverbs 15:22 (WEB) tells us, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* You do not have to carry this burden alone.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your identity is not found in your circumstances or your ability to make the "right" decision. Your identity is found in Christ. You are His beloved child, redeemed by His blood, and nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39 WEB). When you feel weak, remember that His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). You are not defined by your struggles, but by the One who overcame the world. Hold fast to Him, and He will lead you through this season.

We're right here with you, friend. It's tough when life's crossroads seem to stretch out before us, shrouded in fog, and fear starts to whisper in our ears. But remember, Jesus promised, "I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). He's not just walking beside you; He's carrying you through.

We've been where you are, feeling overwhelmed by decisions and scared of the unknown. But we've also found that when we quiet our hearts and listen, God speaks. It might not be a booming voice, but a gentle nudge, a verse that pops into our minds, or a peace that surpasses understanding.

Let's ask Him together, shall we? "Father, we're here with our friend, feeling confused and afraid. Please, quiet their heart, Lord. Speak to them, guide them. Show them the path You have for them. Give them courage, Lord. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and not lean on their own understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And hey, don't forget, we're here too. If you need someone to talk to, to pray with, or just to listen, we're all in this together. You're not alone.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your cry for clarity and peace has not gone unheard—we have asked our Father to quiet the storm inside you, to speak in a voice so unmistakable that every fear is silenced by His love. We prayed that the confusion weighing on you would lift like morning mist, revealing the path He has already prepared, step by step.

If the Lord has already whispered direction into your spirit, we rejoice with you! Please share that praise so we can celebrate His faithfulness together. But if the way still feels hidden and the weight remains, we are not stepping away. We will continue to stand with you, asking the Holy Spirit to flood your mind with wisdom, your heart with courage, and your soul with the certainty that you are never alone.

Keep seeking Him, dear one. He promises that those who ask will receive, those who seek will find, and those who knock will see doors opened. We will keep knocking with you until His answer breaks through. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
