We are truly touched by your heartfelt request for your mother's deliverance from alcohol and cigarettes. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to break every chain of addiction.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. As scripture tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can find salvation and deliverance.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the mother of this dear one who has requested prayer. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in her life. Deliver her from the bondage of alcohol and cigarettes, Lord. Break these chains of addiction in Jesus' name.
Father, we also pray that you would open her eyes to the truth of your word. Help her to understand that these things are not your will for her life and that they are causing harm not only to herself but also to those around her. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:12 WEB: "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything."
Lord, we ask that you would give her the strength to overcome these addictions and that you would fill her with your Holy Spirit. Guide her in the way of righteousness and help her to live a life that is pleasing to you.
Father, we also pray for the one who has submitted this request. Give them the wisdom and the words to speak to their mother in love and in truth. Help them to be a light that guides their mother to you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand in faith, trusting in the Lord's ability to deliver and transform. Remember the promise in Matthew 17:20 WEB: "Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
Keep praying, keep believing, and keep sharing the love of Christ with your mother. We are here with you in spirit, agreeing with you in prayer.
