A Hard Life
God sees the struggles of every worker and calls us to stand with them in justice and compassion.
Untrodden Ways
Trust God in new trials, for He guides, sustains, and turns fear into faith.
The Termini of Two City Roads
The path you choose in the city determines whether you rise with God’s strength or fall to ruin.
We have heard your request and we are standing with you in prayer together in Jesus' name for your DV visa situation and for the heaviness you are feeling as the September 30 deadline approaches.

We understand how heavy this waiting has become and how depression can settle in when so much feels uncertain and out of your control. We want you to know that God sees you in this place and He cares deeply about your pain. Psalm 34:18 tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. You are not alone in this burden and we are bringing it before the Lord with you.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we must come through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through His name we pray and find peace even in uncertain times.

We pray now for your visa and your future. Father in heaven, we lift up our friend to You in the name of Jesus. You know the desire of this heart to receive the DV visa before the deadline, to move to the United States, to be placed in a good location and to find a good paying job to provide for the future. Lord we ask if it is Your will that You would open this door before September 30 and make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask for favor with those handling the application and for Your hand to guide every step. At the same time we surrender this desire to Your perfect will and Your perfect timing, trusting that Your plans are higher than ours. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. We pray that even now Your peace would guard this heart and mind. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Lord lift this depression, renew hope, and remind our friend that You are near and that You are working for good.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him first above even this visa. Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. And Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Whether the answer is to go to the USA now or to remain where you are for a season, God can provide a great location and good work wherever He places you, and He will direct your steps as you trust Him. Keep bringing your requests to Him daily with thanksgiving, stay in His Word, stay connected to fellow believers who can encourage you, and if the heaviness continues please reach out to a pastor or trusted Christian counselor for support.

We are praying that God will answer according to His wisdom and mercy, that He will grant you peace while you wait, and that He will lead you to the place and provision He has prepared for you. We pray all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We hear how heavy this wait has been for you. Carrying the hope for your DV visa with that September 30 deadline, plus wanting to move quickly to a good location and find steady, good paying work, is a lot to hold at once. It makes sense you are feeling depressed and worn down by the uncertainty.

We are praying with you in this stretch of waiting. We know you cannot control the timing or the decision, and that helpless feeling can make the days feel longer. Try to keep what you can in order while you wait, double checking that your documents and case follow-up are current, staying in contact with the official source for your case, and keeping a simple daily rhythm for sleep, meals, and connection with people who care about you.

Since you mentioned feeling depressed, please don't carry that alone. Alongside prayer, it would be good to reach out soon to a trusted pastor, counselor, or medical professional who can support you personally through this season.

Father, we bring our brother before You and ask for Your peace to guard his heart in this waiting. Give him comfort when he feels low, wisdom for each next step, and clarity about the path ahead. We ask for Your gracious provision for his needs for place and work, and above all that Your good will be done in his life. We trust him to Your care in Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your sorrow and your anxious desire concerning this visa have been heard, and we have carried them to the throne of grace.

You speak of depression and of great anxiety about this deadline of September 30, and about a place to live and work in America. Let me speak plainly to that heaviness. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To be in a great hurry to do something does more mischief than could possibly have happened if you had kept still, resting in the Lord and waiting patiently for Him. Haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life, and waiting will cool the brow and prepare a place for wisdom.

What you need, and what we have asked the Lord to give you, is not only an answer about a visa, but grace to wait upon God. There is a waiting God, who waits that He may be gracious, and there is a waiting people who wait in hope, not in despair nor in hesitation, but in joyous and assured hope. Waiting upon God is the way to renew our strength until we mount up with eagle's wings. It strengthens the heart because the Eternal Spirit comes into the soul, and it makes the world and all its affairs grow small till we see their real littleness.

We are also to wait upon God as a servant waits upon his lord, anxious to know what his master wishes him to do, and as a traveler waits upon his guide. We are to wait upon God for direction in the entire voyage of life, for He is at the helm and His hand is to steer our course. It would not be right for us to simply ask God to grant whatever we desire in our time and way. Rather we say, My soul wait thou only upon God. Bowing with submission to the will of God, by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance.

Therefore we have prayed for you in this way, that the Lord would do what is best and most for His glory and for your lasting good. We have asked that if it be His will, He would open the door for this DV visa before the deadline, and provide for you a safe place and honest and fruitful work. And if in His infinite wisdom He ordains otherwise or appoints a longer waiting, we have asked that He would give you contentment in His will, deliverance from this depression, and a clear sense of His guidance step by step. Merely to knock at Mercy's door without waiting for a reply is like the runaway knocks of idle boys in the street. So we pray and we wait and watch, confident that the windows of Heaven will open in due time and that His right hand will scatter His liberality upon waiting souls.

Cast this burden upon Christ, who bought His people with His precious blood. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He knows what you have need of. Whether you remain where you are or are led to another land, may you be led by Him, kept from evil, and established in the peace that comes from knowing your sins forgiven through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

May the Lord lift this weight from your spirit, quiet your anxious thoughts, and cause you to hear His still small voice saying, wait upon the Lord and be of good courage. We will continue to wait with you in prayer.

Your request has been heard and I have brought it before the Lord with you. I understand the heaviness you feel as September 30 draws near and how this long waiting has left you depressed and anxious for a clear answer about your DV visa, your move to the United States, and your need for a good job in a good place.

Scripture teaches that anxiety scourges the soul and wears it down, and that it can disfigure even what is good in our lives. But God does not leave us in that place. He sends His own Word to bring release and to lift the heart that is bowed down. When we turn to Him, He frees us from fear and gives peace that is not dependent on circumstances. One way He does this is by filling us with His Spirit as we pray and sing psalms and set our minds on His promises, so that sorrow does not have the final word.

So I pray for you now in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation.

I pray that the Lord will have mercy on you and give you peace in this time of waiting, lifting the depression and quieting the anxiety that troubles you. I pray that if it is His will, He will open the way for your visa to be granted before the September 30 deadline, and guide your steps to a safe location and to honest work that provides for your needs. I pray that He will give you wisdom and favor in every interview and decision, and that He will lead you to a community where you can grow in faith and serve Him. Above all I pray that you will trust His goodness and His timing, knowing that He sees the future and will tell you and show you the way to go, and that whether the answer comes as you hope or otherwise, you will find your security and joy in Christ and continue to seek His kingdom first.

May the Lord keep you, strengthen you each day, and let you know His presence and provision. I will continue to pray for you.

Your request has been heard, and the heaviness you feel while waiting for an answer before that September deadline is understood. The anxiety of a deadline, the longing for a new place and for provision through good work, and the depression that comes when the future feels uncertain are deep and very human burdens.

The story of Job speaks to this kind of season. Job lived long ago, perhaps as early as the time of Abraham, and his world was very different from ours. Yet cultures and times have changed while the deepest problems and needs of the heart have stayed the same. What troubled Job still troubles us today, and the cries he lifted up touch the same questions we ask when we do not understand what God is doing.

Scripture pulls back the curtain and shows something Job himself could not see at first. God spoke well of Job in heaven, calling him a blameless and upright man who loved God and turned away from evil. The adversary had been watching Job closely, studying him and forming a theory about him, that Job only served God because God had placed a hedge of protection and blessing around him and made him prosperous. On the basis of that accusation, God permitted Job to be tested by the loss of his possessions and by great personal suffering.

Job did not understand his circumstances. He did not curse God or accuse Him of doing wrong, but he was honest about his grief, saying it felt heavier than the sand of the sea. He longed for answers and even for a mediator, someone who could stand between God and man and bring them together. We know now that Jesus Christ is that mediator, the one who lays His hand on both and brings us to God.

Three friends came to comfort Job, but they did not comfort him well. They assumed suffering must mean hidden sin, and they pressed Job to admit wrong and tried to explain God with simple formulas. They were miserable comforters who added confusion rather than help. In his pain Job said many things out of grief, and Scripture faithfully records those words, but not every word spoken in grief is to be taken as settled doctrine. What remains true through it all is what Job affirmed even while questioning, that God is fair and God is just, and that God is at work even when it feels as though He has forsaken us.

That truth is for you now. God sees you, He knows the weight of this waiting, and nothing about your life is hidden from Him. He is not distant or unable to see through the clouds. He is working even when His work is not visible to you, and His justice and goodness do not fail.

We are praying for you, that God will give you peace that guards your heart in Christ, that He will lift the depression and give you strength to trust Him day by day, and that He will make His will clear concerning this visa. We ask that if it is His will, He would open the door before the deadline, guide you to a safe and suitable place to live where you hope to go, and provide honest and sufficient work to meet your needs. Above all we pray that you would seek the Lord Himself first, that you would know His nearness and His care, and that you would rest in the confidence that He who loved you and gave His Son for you will not withhold what is good for you according to His perfect wisdom. May the Lord show you His path, sustain you in this trial, and draw you closer to Himself through it.

We want to thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your DV visa and for asking us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this difficult time. We have been lifting you up before the Lord, specifically that your DV visa would be granted before the September 30 deadline and that you would be able to move to the USA as soon as possible, settling in a great location and landing a good paying job.

We understand how heavy this waiting has been and how depressed you have felt, and we have asked God to give you His peace and comfort as you wait on Him. We are reminded that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18 and that we are to present our requests to God with thanksgiving Philippians 4:6. We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will open the doors according to His perfect will, grant favor in the visa process, direct your steps to the right place in the USA, and provide the right job opportunity for you, and that He will lift this burden of depression and fill you with hope as you trust in Him.

If your request was answered and your visa was granted, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and the burden remains, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
