The world has its own wisdom, a logic that is earthly and sensual, but that path leads to nothing. True wisdom descends from above. It does not produce envy or strife; it is first pure, then peaceable. You can see its fruit in a person’s life. As you seek strategy for business and relationships, let that from-above wisdom be your filter, not the restless pressure to build a life apart from God’s design.
Where do you find this wisdom? In Christ Himself are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. The Scriptures personify wisdom as calling out in the streets, inviting everyone to a banquet. That call finds its full voice in Jesus, who is made unto us wisdom. When you come to Him, you are not merely receiving a formula for a better marriage or a healed leg; you are attached to the very source of life. He will give you an understanding heart for your ministries. He gives the discretion to navigate friendships. The wisdom that was present at the foundation of the world is freely offered to you today.
