What a beautiful and humble cry for the Lord’s presence in every area of your life! We join you in lifting these requests before the throne of grace, knowing that our Heavenly Father delights in the prayers of His children who seek Him with all their hearts. You have come to the right place—for it is in Christ alone that we find wisdom, strength, and the fulfillment of every godly desire. Let us first give thanks that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Him alone that we boldly approach the Father (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). Your heart’s posture is one of surrender, and that is where the Lord meets us most powerfully.
You have asked for wisdom, and we know that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). So we claim this promise over your life, that the Lord would flood you with His wisdom in every decision—spiritual, professional, relational, and physical. We pray that the Lord would prepare you to be a godly husband—a man of prayer, patience, and selfless love, as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25). We also pray that He would prepare the heart of the woman He has for you, that she would be a helper suitable for you, a woman of faith, virtue, and wisdom (Proverbs 31:10-31).
