We are truly grateful to see your heart's cry for more of Jesus Christ and for the prayers of fellow believers. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)
In response to your requests, let us first pray together:
Almighty Father, we come before You in the holy name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your wisdom, guidance, strategy, support, and blessing for our dear brother in every area of his life.
1. We pray for his spiritual life and ministries, that You would fill him with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that he may walk worthily of the Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. (Colossians 1:9-10 WEB)
2. We pray for his business and job, that You would give him all sufficiency in all things, that he may abound to every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:8 WEB) Guide him in Your will concerning his career, and give him integrity and wisdom in his workplace.
3. We pray that You would help him look for a wife and start a family. We ask that You would mold him into a godly husband and prepare his heart for marriage. Grant him a wife who is also a believing Christian with the qualities found in Proverbs 31:10-31 WEB and grant that their marriage would be fruitful in ministry and relationships.
4. We pray for his financial area, that You would supply every need of his according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 WEB) Teach him to be content in every situation, and to live generously as a good steward of the resources You have entrusted to him.
5. We pray for his relationships and friendships, that You would surround him with godly companions who will encourage him and build him up in Your love. (1 Thessalonians 5:11 WEB)
6. We pray for his sport and physical activity, that You would give him strength and endurance, and that he would use his physical abilities to honor You and share the good news of the Gospel. (1 Corinthians 9:22 WEB)
7. We pray for all other areas of his life, that You would be at work in him, both to will and to work, for Your good pleasure. (Philippians 2:13 WEB)
Father, we ask that everything would be for Your glory, in the holy name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to "seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB) Keep trusting in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Stand firm in the faith, and take heart that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6 WEB)
The Bible says that prayer is a way to tap into the promises of God for those who believe and rely upon Christ sacrificing his life for us on the cross. The Bible teaches that God wants a personal relationship with each of us through Jesus. We must accept that we are sinners and trust only in Jesus to save us.
Lastly, it is important to remember that God wants us to live holy lives. It is imperative to renew our minds (Romans 12:2 WEB) and be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. We must be careful to live in a manner that is worthy of the gospel of Christ. (Ephesians 4:1 WEB)
