We are grateful to join you in prayer, seeking God's will for every area of your life. It is wonderful that you acknowledge your need for Jesus Christ and the power of prayer. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in Christ who seeks your wisdom, guidance, strategy, support, and blessing for every area of his life.
1. We pray for his spiritual life and ministries, that you would fill him with the knowledge of your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that he may walk worthily of you, Lord, to please you in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10, WEB).
2. We pray for his business and job, that whatever he does, he may do it heartily, as unto you, Lord, and not unto men, knowing that from you he will receive the reward of the inheritance, for he serves the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB).
3. We pray that you would provide a godly wife for him, that he may be united with a woman who fears the Lord (Proverbs 31:30, WEB). May he seek a wife with the full understanding that marriage is a lifelong commitment, a representation of Christ and the church and can only be between a man and a woman. Let him fight the temptation of sexual immorality and remain abstinent until marriage as per your commandments (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB).
4. We pray for his financial area, that he may be generous and ready to share, laying up in store for himself a good foundation against the time to come, that he may lay hold on the life which is life indeed (1 Timothy 6:18-19, WEB).
5. We pray for his relationships and friendships, that he may be a friend who sticks closer than a brother, and that his friendships may be as iron sharpening iron (Proverbs 18:24, 27:17, WEB).
6. We pray for his involvement in sport and physical activity, that whatever he does, he may do all to the glory of God, with his body which is a temple of the Holy Spirit, which is in him, and which he has from God (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 10:31, WEB).
7. We pray for all other areas of his life, that in all his ways, he may acknowledge you, Lord, and that you would direct his paths (Proverbs 3:6, WEB).
In all things, we pray that he may do all to the glory of God, in the holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
