Disciple of Prayer
My prayer request is for my son to respect me and love me a million percent. He is 20 years old and is in College. I have worked so hard for him. He is a miracle but extremely disrespectful. My 2nd request is I need healing, emotionally, physically and mentally. My 3rd request is for my family to be SAVED. My 4th request is for my boyfriend to stop sexting and texting women. He sends them money, lies about his age, they exchange pictures clothes and unclothed. He talks to them and his friends more than he talks to me. I want God to bless me with my house. The bank foreclosed my house due to my job downsizing and I had to work a job with less pay. I was double paying my mortgage to pay off my house in 15 years oppose to 30 and Wells Fargo still foreclosed my house. Their Attorneys told me to ask them to work with me and they refused. I have been without my house for 12 years. I am overweight and extremely frustrated,

We understand your heartache and the multitude of challenges you're facing. Let's bring these concerns before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance through the Scriptures. First and foremost though, we must call out and address that we are to pray in the name of Jesus Christ and Him only. It is only by His name that we are saved and have access to God.

First, let's address your bond with your son. It is important to have healthy boundaries in any relationship and especially with our children. It is also important to remember why he is disrespectful. We cannot change his free will choice to be disrespectful. We are however, responsible for our own behavior and must be respectful. We should not make it comfortable for someone to be disrespectful. In fact we should make it as uncomfortable as possible. We are to love all people, but we are not required to tolerate disrespectful behavior. It is actually good for him to learn this now and will help him to have a better future. Remember the instructions in Ephesians 6:4, WEB: "You fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." It is important to love and respect our children, but it is also important to respect ourselves and not put ourselves in bad situations. While you've worked hard for him, remember that true love is not earned but given freely.

Regarding healing, we pray for your emotional, physical, and mental well-being. Be encouraged by the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30, WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Cast your burdens on Him and trust in His healing power.

Concerning your family's salvation, continue to pray fervently for them. Remember God's promise in 1 John 5:14-15, WEB: "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." Keep sharing the gospel with them and living a life that reflects Christ's love.

For your boyfriend, this is an issue that needs to be explicitly addressed as sin. The actions described are not only harmful to your relationship but are also sinful in God's eyes. It is fornication and adultery and sin against his own body and yours. It is not loving for him to do this to you. It is also very unwise for him to send money to people he does not know. It is foolish, and he is not being a good steward to his finances. It is actually possible that he is being scammed. It is important to address that living together outside of marriage is also living in fornication and sin. It is important to address that your boyfriend needs to stop these actions. If he will not, he is not loving you and you should separate from him.

In any case you should not be unequally yoked together with an unbeliever. He needs to stop these activities and become a Believer. If he will not, you need to consider that he is not the spouse God has for you. It is better to be lonely alone than lonely with someone else.

Pray for God's will to be done in his life, but also be wise and discerning in your actions. It is important to understand that as a Christian you are not to participate in sin or support sin. It is important to understand forgiveness does not mean acceptance. Forgiveness is a free gift we give and that God gives us. It does not mean we are to accept this sin and turn a blind eye to it. You are worthy of love and respect. As the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB: Flee sexual immorality! "Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

Regarding your house, trust in God's provision and timing. Remember His faithfulness. Psalm 37:4-5, WEB: "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:"

Keep your focus on His promises and His ability to provide. Remember that it is important to understand that God will provide for our needs but not necessarily our wants. It is important to be content in all situations. As it says in Philippians 4:11-13, WEB: "Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Finally, remember that God looks at the heart, not at outward appearances. He loves and values you as you are. 1 Peter 3:3-4, WEB: "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved sister. We pray for her son, that Your love would soften his heart and that he would learn to respect his mother. Bring emotional, physical, and mental healing to her body. Save her family and let her boyfriend repent of his sins and be truly sorry for the pain and sin he has caused. We pray for a godly spouse for her and her family. Convict him of his horrible sins and bring him to true repentance and godly sorrow. Help her to trust in Your provision for all her needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, dear friend. We understand the weight of your burdens, and we want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer. Let's bring these concerns to the Lord together.

First, we pray for your son. We ask that God softens his heart and helps him understand the importance of respecting and loving his mother. We pray that he finds peace and understanding, and that he grows into the man God created him to be. We also ask for wisdom for you, that you may know how to navigate this relationship with love and grace, yet also set boundaries that honor both of you.

Next, we pray for your healing - emotionally, physically, and mentally. We claim the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We ask that God's healing power flows through you, bringing restoration and wholeness.

We also intercede for your family, that they would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We pray that God would open their hearts to the gospel, and that they would experience the love and joy that comes from a relationship with Him.

Regarding your boyfriend, we pray for repentance and a change of heart. We ask that God would convict him of his sins and bring him to true repentance. We also pray for wisdom for you, that you would know how to navigate this relationship in a way that honors God and protects your heart. We ask that God would guide you in making decisions that align with His will for your life.

Finally, we pray for your house. We trust that God is faithful and will provide for your needs in His perfect timing. We claim the promise in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

We love you, and we're praying for you. Trust in God's love and care, and know that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) on behalf of Your faithful servant, this beloved minister who has poured out her love for Jesus and Your people. Lord, You are the Great Physician (Exodus 15:26), and we ask You to reveal what is hidden, heal what is broken, and restore her strength according to Your promise in Psalm 41:3: ‘The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness.’

*Silence every voice of affliction, breathe Your life into her weary body (Ezekiel 37:5), and renew her like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Let every test bring clarity, but let Your power bring wholeness where medicine cannot. Surround her with peace, shield her heart—both physically and spiritually—and let her testimony be, ‘The Lord has done great things for me’ (Psalm 126:3). In Jesus’ mighty name, we declare healing and breakthrough. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
