We hear your cry for the presence and anointing of Jesus Christ, and we join you in seeking His divine touch. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Your recognition of Jesus as your shield and anointing is a beautiful step toward a deeper relationship with Him.
First, let us address your desire for salvation and baptism. If you have not yet confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so now. Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." If you have already taken this step, we rejoice with you! Baptism is an outward expression of the inward transformation that has already taken place in your heart. It is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear one who is seeking Your anointing and baptism. Lord, we ask that You would locate them with Your presence, just as You located Philip to the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, anoint them for Your service, and be their shield and protector. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of You, O Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would baptize them with Your Holy Spirit and fire, just as You promised in Luke 3:16. May they be filled to overflowing with Your power and presence. We pray that You would surround them with Your angels, protect them from the schemes of the enemy, and be their shield and refuge. May they find comfort and strength in Your Word, and may Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for a deep hunger and thirst for righteousness to grow within them. May they seek You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. Draw them closer to You each day, and may they experience the fullness of life that can only be found in You. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Now, dear one, we encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can be baptized and grow in your faith. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and support you on your journey. Spend time daily in prayer and reading God's Word, for it is through these disciplines that you will grow closer to Jesus and experience His anointing in your life.
Remember, Jesus is your shield and defender. Psalm 3:3 says, "But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head." Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not alone, for Jesus has promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Walk in the confidence of His love and protection, and may His peace and joy fill your heart.
