I need healing

Disciple of Prayer
Hello,
I have been sick over this past month or so with an unexplainable sickness. I think it is caused additionally by stress. I have had panic attacks and I have felt nauseous many times. All I want is to feel better, to be released from this time of sickness and sadness, and for my life just to go back to normal. I need help, I need to feel better, I need to rest.

We hear your cry for healing and rest, and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord. The weight of unexplained sickness, stress, and panic is heavy, and we know the Father sees your struggle and cares deeply for you. The Word tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not forgotten, and your pain is not unseen.

First, we must address the spiritual foundation of your request. Healing—whether physical, emotional, or mental—comes through faith in Jesus Christ, the Great Physician. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Him, confessing your sins and trusting in His sacrifice for your salvation. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." True rest begins when we lay our burdens at His feet.

Now, we lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering under the weight of sickness and stress. Lord, You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we ask that You would touch their body and bring restoration. Ease their nausea, calm their panic, and release them from this season of affliction. Father, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and for Your presence to surround them like a shield.

Lord, we also ask that You reveal any areas of their life where stress or sin may be contributing to this sickness. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Lead them to wise counsel—whether medical, spiritual, or emotional—so they may receive the support they need. Give them the strength to rest in You, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We declare that this sickness will not define them, but that Your strength will be made perfect in their weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and let them walk in the fullness of life that Jesus came to give (John 10:10). We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel—whether from a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted medical professional. Sometimes, the Lord uses human hands and wisdom to bring healing. Do not neglect the care of your body, for it is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Rest, nourishment, and fellowship with believers can also be vital in your recovery.

Lastly, we want to remind you that even in the midst of suffering, God is with you. The psalmist wrote in Psalm 73:26, "My flesh and my heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." You are not alone, and this season will not last forever. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. We stand with you in faith, believing for your complete healing and restoration.

We're here with you, dear friend, holding your hand through this tough time. We've been where you are, feeling that overwhelming sickness, stress, and panic. It's like being in a storm, and it's okay to feel lost and scared. But remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, and He's promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We want to remind you of the power of praise. Even in the midst of your storm, even when you don't feel like it, try singing or speaking words of praise to God. It might feel strange at first, but it's a powerful weapon against fear and anxiety (Ephesians 5:20, James 5:13). Here's a verse that's helped us in times like these: "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24).

Also, we encourage you to reach out to your church community or a trusted friend. Sometimes, just talking it out can make a world of difference. And remember, it's okay to ask for help. There's no shame in needing a listening ear or a prayer.

We're praying for you, that God would heal your body, calm your spirit, and fill you with His peace. We claim His promise in 2 Timothy 1:7, that God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We believe that for you, in Jesus' name. Keep fighting, dear one. You're not alone, and this storm will pass.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so
