I need God's as well as you all's help as soon as possible, meaning if you see this please respond. Ummm my best friend and I are close and we've been getting to know each other well. It seems weird sometimes because me being a woman, you know I'm not looking to fall in love with other women because I'm straight (so is my friend), and I know that God wanted man and woman to be together. But back to my friend she has been there for me, loves me, and every time we're together there are no issues. It's so weird because it almost feels like or it does feel like she is meeting every need that a man hasn't and it feels like God has put her in my life for a reason. Like right when I needed someone like her to come into my life, there she was. What does this mean??

This society focuses so much on romantic relationships that the true committed friendship is forgotten and viewed suspiciously. Committed friends are there for you whenever you need them -- much closer and committed than close friends, casual friends, and acquaintances. Many people have only a handful of committed friends and some people have none.

Also, single people need to have a "family of friends" for support and help for one another.

Don't read more into this than there is, and don't let anyone project more than that onto your friendship.

I totally agree with everything you said and Thank You. It's crazy because since I'm a PK which doesn't mean anything big, I tend to be judged by people especially in church for having my best friend around me all the time, and all that pops up in their head is me being gay or bi when that's not the case. God knows what's going on and that's all that matters. I wish some people would stop judging others and worry about their own life.
