Lord God Heavenly Father,
I ask that you send St Michael the archangel and his army of angels to protect this person and all who pray here from attack from the evil one and drive satan away. Amen.
I borrow a prayer that I say that is from a booklet Praying For The Family Tree by Dr.David Wells who also references the work and writings of Dr. Kenneth McCall. I hope he will not mind my sharing this binding prayer:
In the Name of Jesus Christ and by the power of His cross and blood, I bind all of the spirits, powers, and forces of the earth, the water, the fire, any evil spirits of nature and of the netherworld. I bind any satanic or demonic forces, and any forces that roam the face of the earth that are not of Jesus. I break any curses, contracts, covenants, hexes, spells, seals or pacts and send them to Jesus to deal with. I bind any demonic interaction, interplay, communication, dirty tricks, or games. I claim the protection of the shed blood of Jesus over this person going by hearme (I would normally say your name here)
His booklet advises that before you sleep you commit yourself and your loved ones into Jesus' care and ask Jesus to send His angels to stand guard to protect you and all your loved ones.
David's booklet, others I have read and Ephesians 6: 10-18 suggest you and pray to put on the whole armour of God. Detailed in this verse of the bible.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
