I moved my 18-year-old son and I into my boyfriend's home 8 months ago to avoid financial circumstances that would have rendered us homeless. Since my divorce 8 years ago, I have struggled financially. I have been putting myself into debt studying for a degree in English since 2010, raising my kids, and working at a seasonal job that is part-time from January to June, then layoff until work starts up again September to December, then layoff again. The job has not met my needs. I've applied for jobs seemingly more secure, but am not as qualified as others who apply and are hired. I feel God is encouraging me to complete my degree next year—to trust Him and get this degree done now. My struggle is that I made a poor choice getting involved with a non-Christian man five years ago and moved in with him 8 months ago instead of trusting God to meet my needs and provide a way for me to complete my degree. My 18-year-old son misses being in the same town as his friends—his social network—he has decided to move out next month and move in with his father who lives in the town I moved from. My children's father divorced me 8 years ago and he has been in a relationship with a man who lives with him since 2009. Please pray for my son's protection and salvation while living there. Please pray for me too and my situation. Please also pray for my other 21-year-old son who is not saved yet—he is a wonderful boy but lives with his girlfriend and is putting himself through university and is close to his dad and thinks the formality of Catholicism suits him best. My daughter received Christ two years ago, is baptized, and married a wonderful Christian man. Praise God! Please pray for God's direction in my life and the lives of my two sons and daughter. Please pray for me to listen, trust, and have faith in Him. Thank you. Amen.
