We join with you in prayer today and thank you for sharing your heart with us, and we hear your deep desire to be a wife again, to be loved and cherished in a godly marriage, to have a beautiful home and family life that honors God, and to walk in His favor and protection over you, your children, your mother, your family and even your pets.
We rejoice with you that you know the power of the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We thank God that you have called upon that name.
We also want to lovingly speak truth over some of the things you have declared, because God calls us to pray according to His will and not according to our own power to speak things into existence. We do not create reality with our words as God does, but we bring our requests to Him in humble trust. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Those who love it will eat its fruit. Prov 18:21. So we want to use our tongues to bless and to pray in alignment with Scripture. You mentioned Deut 28:13, and we hold to that promise with you, Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God. Deut 28:13. That promise is tied to walking in obedience and trust in Him, and we pray you will continue to seek Him first above any desire for a house, a salon, or even marriage itself. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Ps 37:4 and Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Prov 3:5-6.
We love your desire for a Boaz, a godly husband who will love you as Christ loves the church. We affirm that marriage is a holy and lifelong covenant between one man and one woman as God designed from the beginning, Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. Gen 2:24. We pray that if it is His will for you to marry again, He will bring a faithful Christian believer who will pursue you with purity and purpose toward marriage, not simply a relationship or partnership, but a covenant before God. We encourage you in this season of waiting to pursue holiness and to prepare your heart to be the godly wife described in Scripture, whose beauty is not merely outward flawlessness but the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 1 Pet 3:3-4. You are already fearfully and wonderfully made, I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Ps 139:14.
We must also gently correct and rebuke the declarations that others would die first or have no breath in your air or your family's air. We understand the desire for protection and for Satan and lies to be gone, and we agree that we have victory in Christ, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Jas 4:7. Yet the Lord calls us not to pronounce death or curses over other people, even those we see as enemies. Instead, Bless those who persecute you. Bless, and do not curse. Rom 12:14 and But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Matt 5:44. Vengeance belongs to the Lord alone, Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me. I will repay, says the Lord. Rom 12:19. The blood of Jesus is not an incantation to control the air or to harm others, but the precious means of our forgiveness, protection, and reconciliation with God, and we are to pray for protection with trust, not with curses.
So we pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for this dear sister, for her life, for her three children, for her mother, for her family and for the pets You have entrusted to her care. We thank You that she desires marriage that honors You and we ask that You guard her heart and keep her pure as she waits for Your best. If it is Your will, bring a godly husband, a true Boaz, a man after Your own heart who will love her sacrificially, lead her spiritually, and cherish her faithfully all the days of his life, and prepare her to be a faithful and loving wife who honors You in that covenant. We pray for her home and for the desires she has for a house and for work You have placed on her heart, and we ask that You provide according to Your perfect will and timing, and that whatever home she has would be filled with light, accuracy, love, and Your peace. We ask for Your protection over her and her children and her household, that no weapon formed against them would prosper, and that You would keep them in health and safety. We rebuke the enemy and every lie in Jesus name and we ask that You fill her with Your truth, Your love, and Your sound mind, casting out all fear. Help her to use her tongue to bless and to speak Your promises in faith, not to curse others, but to intercede for them and to trust Your justice and mercy. Let her find her identity and confidence not in feeling flawless outwardly, but in being Your beloved daughter, highly favored in Christ. Guard her heart from manifestation or speaking things into existence apart from Your will, and teach her to pray, Your will be done, with confidence that You hear her. We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
