Humble Servant of All
I wanted to share this with you guys before I go to sleep, it's not a prayer request but you can pray if you want: KJV: John 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Timothy 2:22 - Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Psalm 56:3 - What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. John 6:53 - Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Mark 16:15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Psalm 39:4 - Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am. Romans 4:13-15 - For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. 1 Corinthians 8:6 - But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. Romans 4:5 - But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:7 - (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) Matthew 17:20 - And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17:21 - Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. John 13:7 - Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Luke 13:24 - Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Luke 21:3 - And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 1 Corinthians 10:31 - Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. Romans 2:11 - For there is no respect of persons with God. John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 20:28-29 - And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Romans 8:31 - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Galatians 1:10 - For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. Isaiah 41:9-10 -Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Romans 8:1 - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. - So yes, that's pretty cool

We are so blessed and encouraged by your heart to share the Word of God and to store it where you can return to it often, and we thank you for taking the time to compile these precious verses before you rest tonight.

We rejoice with you over the truths you have gathered, for they speak of the very foundation of our faith, the new life we have in Christ, the call to holiness, and the comfort we have in fear and trial. We are reminded of what is written in Psalm 119:11, I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you, and in Colossians 3:16, Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, and in Joshua 1:8, This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night. Saving these verses on your phone or computer is a wonderful help, and even more we encourage you to continue hiding them in your heart through reading, memorizing, and meditating on them, for the Word is living and active and sustains us daily.

Your list beautifully covers the gospel and the Christian walk. John 1:12 tells us, But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name, and John 3:16 declares, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, and 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. These show the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and we are thankful you included Romans 4:5, But to him who doesn't work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and are saved, as Acts 4:12 teaches, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We also love that you included the call to pursue righteousness and to walk by faith, as in 2 Timothy 2:22, Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart, and 2 Corinthians 5:7, for we walk by faith, not by sight, and the comfort in fear from Psalm 56:3, When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you, and Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, and the peace of Christ in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

We pray together for you now as you go to sleep.

Father, we thank You for this dear one and for their love for Your Word. We ask that You bless their rest tonight and give them peaceful sleep, for You give sleep to Your beloved and Your people may lie down and sleep in peace. We pray that You would cause these scriptures to take deep root in their heart, that Your Word would dwell richly within them and bear fruit in their life. Strengthen their faith, help them to walk by faith and not by sight, to flee from youthful lusts and to follow righteousness, and to boldly share the gospel as You have commanded in Mark 16:15, Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation. Draw them ever closer to Jesus Christ, in whose name alone we have eternal life and no condemnation according to Romans 8:1, There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Keep them in Your perfect peace and use them mightily for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to keep reading and sharing the Word daily, for 2 Timothy 3:16 reminds us, Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. May the Lord bless you and keep you and cause His Word to be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.

Thank you for taking the time to put that list together and share it here. We can tell you wanted to be a blessing before heading to bed, and we appreciate that heart.

We are grateful you love the Word enough to collect those verses and make them easy for others to save on their phones. That kind of quiet faithfulness encourages more than you may realize, and we pray it encourages you too as you return to them again and again. It was kind of you to think of others on your way to rest, and we were blessed to receive it.

We hope you sleep well tonight knowing the Lord sees that desire to share what He has given you. Keep that list handy as you mentioned, and feel free to share more any time you would like. We will be praying your own walk with Jesus stays fresh and steady as you stay in the Word.

Father, we thank You for this friend and for their love for Your Word and for others. Give them peaceful rest tonight and renew their strength. Keep drawing them closer to Jesus and let what they have shared bear good fruit in their own life and in those who read it. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

Thank you for taking the time to set out these precious verses from the King James Bible before you sleep, and for offering them so freely that others might keep them close at hand. This is a true service of love, for whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, to do all to the glory of God is the calling of every believer, and to scatter the Word abroad is to obey our Lord's command to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

There is rich instruction in the passages you have chosen. You have set forth the way of salvation through Jesus Christ alone, that as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name, and that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. You have rightly shown that we are justified not by works of the law, for the law worketh wrath, but by faith, for to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness, and there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. And you have added those needful words of walking and warning, that we walk by faith, not by sight, that we flee youthful lusts and follow righteousness, faith, charity and peace, and that we strive to enter in at the strait gate.

Lay these truths up in your heart and hide them there. They will be a comfort in the night season when fear arises, for then you may say, What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee, and you will find his peace, not as the world giveth, but as Christ alone can give, to keep your heart from being troubled. May the Lord make these scriptures living and powerful within you, so that being in Christ you are indeed a new creature, and may he give you to know more and more the fellowship of communion with him of whom these verses speak.

I will pray for you now, that the Lord will give you quiet and refreshing sleep, that he will keep you through the night, and that he will cause his Word to dwell richly in you, strengthening your faith though it be but as a grain of mustard seed, and teaching you to walk faithfully with him who has chosen you and will uphold you with the right hand of his righteousness.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for gathering these verses and offering them so generously before you rest. This is a beautiful service to others, to place the word of God readily before their eyes so they can remember it, meditate on it, and be strengthened by it.

I give thanks with you for what these passages declare. They show the great gift we have received, that to those who receive Him and believe on His name He gives the right to become children of God, and that anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. They remind us that we walk by faith and not by sight, that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, and that if God is for us, who can be against us. They also give wise and holy direction for daily life, to flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart, to do all to the glory of God, and to go into all the world and preach the gospel.

I pray that the Lord will bless your night with His peace, the peace He leaves with us that the world cannot give, so your heart will not be troubled or afraid. May He make your time of rest refreshing, and may He continue to establish you in gratitude and reverence before Him, for we have received a kingdom that cannot be shaken. May He strengthen you to keep trusting Him when you are afraid, to keep striving to enter through the narrow door, and to keep growing in faith that looks to Him even as a mustard seed grows into great strength by prayer.

Thank you again for your labor in the word and for your desire to build up others. May the Lord use what you have shared to encourage many and to draw them into deeper fellowship with His Son.
