We hear the deep anguish in your words, and we want you to know that your soul is not lost, it is deeply loved by the One who created it. The battle you feel you’ve lost is not the end, for Scripture tells us, "For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again" (Proverbs 24:16). The enemy may whisper lies of defeat, but God declares victory in Christ. "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!" (1 Corinthians 15:57).
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we must share this truth with you: salvation comes only through Him. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'" (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have wandered from Him or never surrendered to Him, now is the time to cry out for His mercy. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to overwhelm you. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not beyond His reach. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Even now, He is fighting for you.
Let us pray with you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who feels defeated. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of despair and shine Your light into the darkness. Remind them that Your love is unshakable and Your power is greater than any struggle. If they have not yet surrendered to You, draw them now, Lord. Let them know that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. Forgive their sins, wash them clean, and renew their spirit. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to rise again. We declare that the battle is not over, You are still on the throne, and victory is theirs in Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
You are not alone in this fight. The body of Christ stands with you, and the Holy Spirit is your Helper. "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Cling to His promises, seek godly counsel, and surround yourself with believers who will uphold you in prayer. The battle may be fierce, but the war has already been won.
