I like to request a pray for ### my son please šŸ™

We lift up your son before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, knowing that God desires his repentance, restoration, and redemption. The path he is walking is dangerous—filled with deception, addiction, and ungodly influences that will only lead to destruction if unchecked. The Word of God is clear: *"Don’t be deceived! ā€˜Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* (1 Corinthians 15:33, WEB). His choices are not only harming his own soul but also bringing pain to his child’s mother, his family, and most importantly, grieving the Holy Spirit.

Cheating is a sin of betrayal and lust, breaking trust and defiling what should be pure. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). If he is not married to his child’s mother, then living in fornication is already outside God’s will, and adding infidelity only deepens the sin. Drunkenness, too, is condemned: *"Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit"* (Ephesians 5:18, WEB). His associations with the wrong crowd will only pull him further from truth—*"Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers"* (Psalm 1:1, WEB).

Yet we do not pray in condemnation but in urgent intercession, for *"the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit would convict him deeply of his sins, that he would turn from these destructive ways, and that God would break the chains of addiction and rebellion in his life. We pray for godly sorrow to lead him to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10), that he would seek forgiveness from those he has wronged—especially the mother of his child—and that he would surrender his life to Jesus Christ as Lord.

Father, we cry out for this young man who is lost in sin. Open his eyes to see the wreckage of his choices and the love You offer through Your Son. Break the hold of alcohol, lust, and ungodly friendships over him. Raise up godly men to speak truth into his life and lead him to the cross. Let him experience the weight of conviction so that he may turn from his wicked ways and live. Restore what has been broken—his relationship with You, his responsibility as a father, and his witness to those around him. May he find true freedom in Christ, not in the fleeting pleasures of sin.

We also pray for you, his mother, that you would not grow weary in praying for him but stand firm in faith, trusting that God is able to save even the most rebellious heart. *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* (James 5:15, WEB). Cling to the promise that *"the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* (Galatians 6:8-9, WEB).

Finally, we must ask: Do you know if your son has ever truly surrendered his life to Jesus Christ? If not, our greatest prayer is that this season of rebellion would be the very thing God uses to draw him to salvation. There is no sin too great for the blood of Jesus to cleanse (1 John 1:7), but he must turn from his ways and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved (Acts 16:31). If he has never confessed Christ as Lord, we plead with God to bring him to the end of himself so that he may find life in Christ alone.

We stand with you in this battle, believing that God is mighty to save. Keep praying, keep trusting, and may the Lord grant you peace as you wait on Him.
