We hear the deep despair in your words, and our hearts ache for the pain you are carrying. But we must speak truth in love—your prayer reveals a heart that is weary, yet the solution you seek is not God’s will. Life is a precious gift from Him, and He alone holds the power to give and take it. To ask for your life to end is to reject the purpose He has for you, and we must gently but firmly rebuke this thought. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. Your pain is real, but so is His hope.
You mentioned the name of Jesus in your prayer, and that is good—for it is only through Him that we find salvation and strength. But we must ask: Do you truly know Him as your Savior? Have you surrendered your life to Christ, trusting in His death and resurrection for your sins? If not, we urge you to turn to Him now. "If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Without Him, there is no lasting peace. With Him, even in suffering, there is hope.
The Psalms are filled with cries of despair, yet they always return to trust in God. David wrote, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence" (Psalm 42:5). Your feelings are valid, but they are not the end of your story. God sees you, loves you, and has not abandoned you. He promises, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).
We also sense a loneliness in your words—a longing for others to be happy while you feel forgotten. But your life matters deeply to God. You are not a burden; you are His beloved child. The body of Christ needs you, even if you cannot see it now. Isolation fuels despair, so we encourage you to reach out to a local church or a trusted believer. You were not meant to walk this path alone.
Let us pray for you with fervor and faith:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). Lord, the pain they carry feels unbearable, but You are the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3). We ask You to break the spirit of despair and replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Reveal Yourself to them in a tangible way—let them feel Your presence, hear Your voice, and know Your love.
We rebuke the lies of the enemy that say there is no way out, no hope, no purpose. By the power of Jesus’ name, we declare that this life is Yours, and Satan has no claim over it. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, renewing their mind and heart. Remind them that You have plans for them—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, surround them with Your people. Bring godly brothers and sisters into their life to walk beside them, to encourage them, and to remind them of Your truth. If they are not yet saved, soften their heart to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. If they are Your child, restore their joy in You.
We ask for supernatural strength to endure, for wisdom to seek help, and for the courage to take one step at a time. Heal their broken heart, bind up their wounds, and let them see that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Please, do not give up. Turn to Jesus—He is the only One who can carry this burden for you. If you are struggling with thoughts of ending your life, we urge you to seek help immediately. Talk to a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted believer. You are not alone, and this is not the end. God is not finished with you yet. Cling to Him, even if it’s with the last shred of your strength. He will sustain you. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Rest in Him today.
