I have to leave my two dogs which I have been holding

I have to leave my two dogs which I have been holding on for so long - whilst being in an abusive relationship. I keep going back because of the need to protect and be with the dogs. Please pray for God to grant me the strength to leave them behind knowing they will be safe and they will forgive me for leaving them. Please grant me the strength not to feel guilty about leaving them and not to return yet again to an abusive relationship that is taking a toll on my life. Please God grant me the strength to live a life of loneliness without them and please friends pray for my life, for my dogs' safety. I am at my wits end and I have no choice but to leave them behind as taking them with me is not an option.
