First...thank you for you honestly and your desire for forgiveness. I can only hope that you have been open and honest with your husband. I can only image the heartache and betrayal he feels at this moment. Apologize, apologize, apologize. And be aware that this wasn't just an insult, this was a betrayal. The first step down a very slippery slope that Satan wants for the destruction of your marriage. Old boy friends are NEVER the person to go to, expecially when you are hurting. It's an opportunity for Satan to put you in a situation you can;t control, even if it only emotional cheating. Your husband deserves more. And I think you see that or you wouldn't be so honest. God loves you and your husband does too....now comes the hard part. Asking for forgiveness, not making the same mistake again, being patient while your husband heals and making this marriage work.

You will get thru this, just FIGHT for you marriage. The best thing you can do to love your husband is to RESPECT him, even when he's wrong. Men need to be treated with respect as much as they need the air they breathe. You want/need to be loved and he needs respect. Anyway....Im sure you didn't want wisdom from a stranger. Just know we are praying for you and the covenant you made with your Lord and Savior. God can fix anything if we let him
