I have constipation and a little bit of urine retention; both are causing me to have severe pain. It isn't serious enough to go to the E.R. I don't know what to do I want to take a laxative but I would need 16 ounces of water to take a double dose as the doctor told me I could do. As long as I have urine retention I don't want to drink that much water at one time but I fear I may have to.
