I've personally dealt with addiction to alcohol and I ended up losing my family, clothes, my home and eventually my car and still drank. It is so powerful. I ended up meeting someone who showed me unconditional love, something I had never experienced, the kind of love God gives us. 2 years later from a drunk homeless girl to a massage practitioner working in an upscale spa. Don't regret anything you've done, it will only end up in shame and a loss of self worth which God can't really work with
