I have been praying for quite some time about a particular matter. My grandfather passed away almost a year ago on July 21st. In my prayers I have always asked that my grandfather visit me in my dreams, or send me a msg some way. He was a God fearing man. He was 91 when he passed away. He attended the same church for 50 years. The day he died he told my mother he could hear the angels sing. Long story short, I had an impromptu reading my a medium. She was very warm and nice, I didn't feel any evil or malicious intent. She gave me a msg regardng myself that turned out to be true. It was something I'd been praying for but have never told a single soul. So, approaching the 1st anniversary of my grandfather's death I've been contemplating on seeing this woman in hopes to hear from my grandfather. I do believe that God has blessed some with this gift. My grandfather was grounded and deeply rooted in his religion so I am unsure if I should do this. But I so desperately want to know if he is ok. The night he passed I had a dream that it was his birthday. Sometimes, I have dreams of my helping him out of the hospital because someone is trying to hurt him. He isn't well in my dreams. I cry when I see him in my dreams. So, I humbly ask for all your prayers as I am seeking guidance in this matter. I also continue to pray for the safety and well being of my nephew, ###. I have had a similar experience after my mom passed. I had foreboding dreams of her leaving me, before she died suddenly. She visited me in my dreams in the beginning. But after 2 years, not so much. I asked she visit me, but with her strong Christian faith I don't think she wants to do anything to offend God. It's hard to know.

An online grief board helped me. A suggestion was to write letters to the loved one you lost and at other times sit and look at a picture of them and say the things you wish you could say to them.

They are with us. Grief is so hard. It hits you when you least expect it. I pray to God for peace, during those times of mourning. I know she's in a better place, but when she passed away a part of myself went with her & I've been praying to stay strong and heal.
