I have been praying for a change in all aspects of my life

I have been praying for a change in almost every aspect of my life. I continue to pray, but it is difficult to remain hopeful and in faith when I fall more deeply in depression most days. Moved to florida 3 years ago by myself, and find tht I cannot afford to live here. It is very, very expensive. I was hoping to buy a small home for myself, but I can only afford 80-100,000, and that is not available anywhere near where I work in Sarasota. Most of my prayers have been for finances to increase, somehow; high credit cards, which I'm working hard to pay off. I'm 69 years of age, never owned a home, and renting in horrible, unless you can afford it. My health has been going downhill, big time weight gain, due to depression and now falling into alcohol at night. Please, my loving God, I need Your guidance so badly, I don't know what to do, where to go, or how to do anything anymore. This depression feels worse than the cancer I went thru years ago, and car accident many years ago, and mostly the mentally/physical abuse as a child and married woman. Please God, I love you, I really do. I want to serve you, and stay close to you. You are a wonderful father to me, I've never had a good earthly father at all. Help me Lord, to be faithful and wait further patiently. I am thankful for all your gifts to me, and ask further for my finances to be over abundant, a loving partner in my life, a beautiful home surrounding by God loving friends, a job that allows my heart to give all my love and caring to it.  Beth

Amen to your beautiful prayer. When I feel like many areas of my life are out of control, I go back to the basics of seeking first the kingdom and all its righteousness. I will continue to pray that God shows you direction and provides for your needs as He always does for those who seek Him

Give Him this day and everything that it holds.

Walk in His goodness, knowing that His gentle hand will guide you and keep you.
