We hear your heart’s deep longing for a godly husband and a marriage that reflects Christ’s love for His church. Your words reveal a beautiful vision of covenant love, one where faithfulness, honor, and joy abide. We rejoice with you in the hope of God’s promises, for He delights in blessing His children with good gifts, including the gift of a spouse who loves Him first and loves you as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25).

Yet, we must gently address a few concerns in your request. First, marriage is not merely about personal fulfillment or the satisfaction of desires, it is a sacred covenant before God, designed to reflect His love, holiness, and commitment. While your excitement is understandable, we must ensure our focus remains on God’s will, not just our own wishes. Proverbs 19:14 reminds us, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh." A spouse is a gift from the Lord, not something we "get" by our own efforts or demands.

Second, we notice the phrase "I put back on my wedding ring in faith on my wedding finger in secret." If this implies you are claiming a marriage that does not yet exist in reality, we must caution against presumption. Faith is not about manipulating circumstances or declaring things into existence apart from God’s timing. True faith trusts in His perfect plan, even when it differs from our own. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth" (Matthew 6:10). Let us align our desires with His will, not the other way around.

Third, while your description of intimacy and connection is natural and good within the bounds of marriage, we must emphasize that God’s design for physical intimacy is exclusively within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Any sexual expression outside of this is called fornication in Scripture and is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If you are currently involved in a relationship that does not honor this boundary, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness and strength to walk in purity. If you are not, we praise God for your commitment to His standards and encourage you to continue guarding your heart and body until marriage.

Lastly, we must address the foundation of your request. You mention the "blood of Jesus," but your words do not explicitly acknowledge Him as Lord or express dependence on Him alone for salvation. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no other name, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father in prayer. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and commit to following Him as Lord. This is the first and most important step in every area of life, including marriage.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of hope and reverence. We lift up this sister to You, asking that You would draw her close to Your heart. Lord, You know her deepest longings, and we trust that You will fulfill them according to Your perfect will. We pray for a husband who loves You above all else, a man after Your own heart, who will cherish her as Christ cherishes the church. May their marriage be a testimony to Your love, grace, and faithfulness.

Father, we ask that You would purify her heart and mind, aligning her desires with Yours. Guard her from impatience, presumption, or any form of idolatry that places marriage above You. Teach her to wait on Your timing and to trust in Your goodness, even when the wait feels long. Strengthen her to walk in purity, honoring You with her body and her heart.

Lord, if there is any area of her life that does not align with Your Word, we ask that You convict her gently and lead her into repentance. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in wisdom, discernment, and faith. May she find her ultimate satisfaction in You, knowing that You alone can fill the deepest places of her heart.

We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and we rebuke any spirit of loneliness, fear, or doubt that seeks to steal her peace. We speak life, joy, and victory over her in the mighty name of Jesus. May she experience Your extraordinary favor in every area of her life, not because she demands it, but because You are a good and generous Father.

We pray for her future husband, that You would prepare him even now to be the man she needs. Mold him into a leader who seeks Your face, a protector who stands firm in faith, and a lover who reflects Your selfless love. Bring them together in Your perfect timing, and may their union bring glory to Your name.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would be the center of her life and her future marriage. May she seek You first, and may all these things be added unto her (Matthew 6:33). We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your unfailing love.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Spend time in His Word, allowing it to shape your desires and expectations. Surrender your dreams to Him, trusting that He knows what is best for you. If you are not already, consider joining a Bible-believing church where you can grow in community and find godly mentorship. Surround yourself with believers who will pray for you and encourage you in your walk with Christ.

Remember, God’s plans for you are good, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Even if the wait feels long, His timing is perfect. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you.

We hear the deep longing in your words, and we’re here with you before the Lord, holding this desire for a faithful husband and a lasting marriage. It’s clear that your heart has been through disappointment, and yet you’re still daring to hope, even slipping that wedding ring on in secret as a quiet act of trust. That takes courage, and it matters.

Here is something gentle to sit with: the very closeness you long for in a husband, being followed every day, never having to make an appointment to be loved, having someone who makes time for you, Jesus already offers you right now. He is the One who stays, who sees you completely, and who has no schedule too full for you. Let that steady companionship ground you while you wait. When we root our security in Him first, we’re better able to recognize the right man when He brings him, without settling for less than God’s best.

We also want to bless the prayer behind the ring. But the greater victory is a heart that rests so deeply in God’s love that whether or not a man appears, you are whole. So we won’t just ask for a husband; we’ll ask for your peace and confidence to grow right now, in the in-between. Spend time with Jesus as your daily companion, talk to Him about everything, and perhaps share this journey with a mature Christian friend who will pray with you steadily.

Let’s pray:

Father, You know every detail of this desire. Thank You that You see the ring on her finger and the hope in her heart. Calm her mind, steady her emotions, and deepen her trust in Your perfect timing. Guard her from settling, and give her wisdom to recognize the man You have for her, a man who will love her faithfully and honor You. Until that day, be her constant companion, her peace, and her true heart’s desire. In Jesus’ name, amen.

A heart that clamors for a husband with such fierce, detailed demands cannot yet be at peace, nor can it rightly perceive the nature of the favor it seeks. To speak of making appointments to be wronged, and to demand a man who follows everywhere, is to frame a sacred covenant in the language of compulsion and selfish consumption. That is not the cry of one whose mind is stayed on God, but of one whose desires are fixed on a creature to fill a void only Christ can fill. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, but it does not whisper a promise to gratify every earthly whim in the precise manner you dictate. True favor begins with a healed heart, not a fulfilled list.

You say you put on your wedding ring in secret, in faith. But is this faith in Jesus Christ, the faithful Friend who sticks closer than a brother, or faith in a vision of your own making? The faithful olive tree refuses to leave its fatness to rule over the trees; it will not cease to give its oil wherewith God and man are honored. Are you so certain this clamorous pursuit of a “sweet, sweet man” is honoring to God, or might you be leaving your place of peace to chase a promotion among the trees? There is a counterfeit peace, a slight healing that cries “Peace, peace” when there is no peace. To claim uncommon favor while nursing a list of grievances against a husband who is not yet given, and to speak of secret acts as a test of God’s victory, borders on the sinister license of one who has mistaken sacred liberty for the right to make demands.

God’s healing of backsliding and brokenness does not come by us ordering our own prescription. The Lord declares, “Heal me, and I shall be healed.” He does not need us to hand Him the medicine and wait for victory on our terms. Oftentimes the remedy for a heart so full of worry and a life so void of a real abiding trust is the very severe affliction of having our idols withheld. You seek a creature to give you peace when you go places, a man to be your unquestioning shadow. But this is to seek your righteousness in another sinner, not in the waves of Christ’s atoning blood. The only one who can follow you perfectly, who daily bears your sorrow with you, and who can make it home to your soul every night is Jesus. Has He not vanquished death and all its powers? Then can He not vanquish loneliness and the terror of being without a husband?

This is a faithful saying, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Not to be a mere accessory to a perfect earthly marriage, but to be the very Husband of the soul. A steward is required to be faithful to his Master first, not to run after the applause of the world or to secure his own selfish comfort. You ask for a man who is your “dreams come true hearts desires happiness greatly”. But a Christian’s chief desire must be to be found faithful to Christ, whether single or married. If the heart’s deepest cry is not “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed,” but rather “Give me this exact sort of husband and give me now,” then there has been a slight healing of the hurt, and the hurt will break out again. Turn this fervent pleading away from the image of a man and toward the living God. Christ is a faithful friend; He is the one whose mercy endures, ever faithful, ever sure. Cast yourself upon Him, not as a means to get a ring back on your finger, but as the end of all your joy. In His keeping you are safe, and until your peace is found there, you will find no right peace in any other.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not place your hope in a man who will trail after you like a shadow, for marriage is not a means to have a servant who fulfills your every wish. This is a holy mystery, a type of Christ and the Church, where the husband is the head and the wife his body, both serving the Lord. If you seek a husband who will hang upon your every move, you risk making an idol of your own comfort and inviting tyranny into your home. Seek not money, nor worldly favor, nor honeyed messages, but piety of soul, gentleness, and the fear of God. Nothing is sweeter than virtue, and a marriage built on such things will bring true happiness.

You speak of putting on a ring in secret as a test of faith, but faith does not demand signs from God. It humbly commits the matter into His hands, praying, “Whom Thou wilt, do Thou provide.” The blood of Jesus is not a charm to speak a husband into existence; it is the precious price that bought you, body and soul, so that you might bring forth fruit unto God. Do not use your freedom to chase after a fantasy, but ask the Lord to shape your desires to align with His good purpose.

If you desire a marriage that endures, first become the kind of woman who walks in holiness and orderliness. Use marriage with moderation when it comes, and you will be first in the kingdom. Let your petition be one of trust, not of demands for extraordinary favor or a man who follows you everywhere. The husband who stays is the one who fears God, and a wife who honors him as the Church honors Christ will find a peace that no worldly arrangement can give.

I hear the deep longing in your words, and I want to direct your heart to the One who can calm every storm within you right now. The desire for a faithful, loving husband is not wrong, but the unshakable peace you crave can be yours long before that ring finds its rightful place.

Jesus stood in a boat with frightened men and spoke to the wind: “Peace, be still.” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Then He turned to His disciples and asked why they had no faith. That same authority is yours through Him. The anxiety, the ache of waiting, the fear that no one stays, He can quiet all of it when you hand the need over and trust His timing.

That ring you slipped on in faith is a real act of hope, but I encourage you to let that hope be anchored first in Jesus, not in a man. Marriage is a beautiful picture of two becoming one, a unity that reflects God’s own nature, yet the day is coming when we rise and no longer marry or are given in marriage. Our ultimate joy is not in an earthly spouse; it is in our resurrected Lord. Hold the ring openly before Him, not as a secret, but as a symbol of your surrendered desire.

Be careful not to feed only the flesh with endless thoughts of what you lack. Fasting and prayer reverse the pattern, they starve the anxious mind and nourish the spirit. When your soul is well fed, you can rest, knowing that Jesus is your constant companion who follows you everywhere and who will never fail to communicate His love. The peace to go places without worry, to work and be yourself, comes from being complete in Him first.

If past pain or tormenting thoughts rise up like an unclean spirit, remember that Jesus rebukes them with authority. He does not merely silence them; He commands them to come out. His blood has already sealed the victory. Do not fear. Do not jump ship before the calm arrives. There is a test in the waiting that proves your faith and makes it unshakable.

Hold your peace as He did before His accusers, trusting that at the right moment He will speak to your situation. I am praying that as you seek His kingdom and righteousness above all else, He will guide you and, if it be His will, bring a man who stays, who cherishes you, and who sees you as a gift. But more than that, I pray you know that even now you are seen, loved, and held by the One who is the great Bridegroom of the church. That is your extraordinary favor, bought with the blood of Jesus. Walk in that victory today.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer for the deep desires the Lord has placed within you. It has been our joy to lift up your request for a godly husband, a marriage built on Christ’s love, and the peace that comes from knowing you are cherished by someone who sees you as his dream come true. We have prayed in faith for your uncommon favor, for a man whose heart aligns with God’s will, who communicates with love, and whose presence brings security and joy into your life.

If the Lord has already begun to answer this prayer—if you’ve seen glimpses of His provision, favor, or peace—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can celebrate His faithfulness together. If, however, the answer hasn’t yet come in the way you hoped, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, trusting that God hears and is working even when we cannot yet see.

May the Father draw near to you as you seek Him, filling your heart with hope and reminding you that your worth is found in Christ alone. May His timing be perfect, His provision abundant, and His peace guard your heart as you wait. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
