Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer as you made the courageous decision to forgive and let go of the anger and resentment you felt toward his friends.
We were moved by your honesty in sharing how painful it was when the PS5 console you bought for him in love was used to deceive you, when his friends would invite other girls to play online as if they were his girlfriend and tell them to be quiet when you were around. We have been praying for healing from that deep hurt, the sadness and anger you carried for so long, and the added pain of wanting them to understand or care how deeply they wounded you.
We thank God with you for the work He has done in your heart and in your relationship, that you and he have been able to move forward together in love through so much, and that you have chosen to release the need for those friends to acknowledge the hurt and to surrender that resentment to the Lord. We continue to pray that the Lord will guard your heart in that freedom and fill you with His peace as you keep walking in forgiveness. We pray that He will heal any remaining wounds and help you to rest in His justice and mercy, remembering Eph 4:31-32 and Col 3:13, and that He will also work in the hearts of those friends where change and healing from misguidance is needed.
We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will continue to strengthen your relationship and keep it rooted in kindness, honesty and grace, and that He will bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. Rom 12:19.
