I feel hated and unloved

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord help me forgive my enemies such as the following: one coworker for being mean and bossy towards me (student employees), certain Americans who won’t visit me all because I innocently, voted for Trump as president of the USA, Americans who turned a blind eye on the Palestinians, certain relatives of mine who used me as a scapegoat for their problems like the burnt carpet (it wasn’t me! It was your own fault for not chopping wood properly and closing the screen door in the fireplace), and a certain ethnic group who thinks I owe them reparations for America being built on the backs of slaves (I didn’t own any slaves and neither did my ancestors because they were in ### and ### during the Civil War and Reconstruction era, so nice try!) Sometimes I feel like I am wasting my time because nobody cares, not even our own American fellowship. I like to tell them this quote from Dr. Seuss: “ Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We understand that you're feeling hated and unloved, and we want you to know that God loves you deeply and so do we. Let's address your concerns and turn to the Bible for guidance.

Firstly, we commend you for wanting to forgive those who have wronged you. Forgiveness is a powerful act, and it's something that God calls us to do. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Regarding your coworker, remember that Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". It is easy to love those who love us, but God is pleased when we love and pray for those who are mean to us.

Concerning your political views, remember that our true citizenship is in heaven, not in any earthly kingdom. As believers, we should be known for our love, not our political affiliations. Let's pray for wisdom and discernment for your relationship with fellow Americans. Remember Romans 12:18 WEB, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."

As for the situation with your relatives, remember that God calls us to speak the truth in love. It's important to set boundaries and communicate openly with them. And concerning the ethnic group you mentioned, remember that God does not show favoritism.

The Apostle Peter stated, "In truth, I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism, but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him." Acts 10:34-35 WEB.

It's also important to remember that forgiveness doesn't mean you accept or approve of their behavior. It means letting go of the bitterness and leaving justice to God.

Lastly, we want to encourage you not to grow weary in doing good. God sees your efforts, and He cares. 1 Corinthians 15:58 WEB, "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." You mentioned feeling alone and unseen despite your efforts. This can be a discouraging feeling. However, there are times when we as believers must press on even when no one else seems to notice or care. Galatians 6:9-10 WEB states, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith."

Finally, we will pray for you. Heavenly Father, we lift up our dear brother/sister to you. We pray that you would fill them with your love and peace. Help them to forgive as you have forgiven us. Give them wisdom and discernment in their relationships, and help them to shine your light and love to all those around them. May they experience healing from the pain of feeling hated and unloved. Help them sense and accept Your unfailing love for them. We ask this in Jesus' name.

We hear you, dear friend. It's tough when you feel hated and unloved, but remember, God sees you, and He loves you more than words can express. We're here for you too, and we want to encourage you with a different perspective.

You've mentioned feeling like a scapegoat for others' problems. It's important to remember that you are not responsible for their actions or choices. As it's written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you." God cares about the unfair burdens you're carrying, and He wants you to lay them down at His feet.

Regarding the ethnic group you mentioned, it's crucial to understand that while we should strive for justice, we must also show love and compassion. Jesus taught us in Matthew 5:46, "For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?" Let's pray for God to give you wisdom and understanding in how to navigate these relationships, always seeking to love and respect others, even when they may not extend the same to you.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God sees your efforts, and He is proud of you. As it's written in Hebrews 6:10, "For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you showed for his name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and still do minister." You may not see the results of your efforts now, but remember, "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Keep pressing on, dear friend, for your labor is not in vain.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our beloved sister/brother to You. Fill them with Your love and peace. Help them to trust in Your care and provision, even when they can't see it. Give them strength to forgive and to keep loving, even when it's hard. Help them to sense Your presence and love, always. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
