I don't want to say my son does not have a cough but this has been going on for a while and it only happens when he get mad and don't get his way i can actually hear him trying to get a cough out I pray God reveal truth and if he is fake coughing I pray God stop it I think he wants attention but don't understand I give him a lot of attention more than anyone

It is not necessarily a fake cough. Stress & emotional situations can induce an asthmatic sort of cough, this is different than a cough caused by a virus.
