I don't want to get too specific today. My heart is very heavy, and I don't know how to ease the weight of the emotional pain that I feel. I am praying for God's comfort, and I am trying to trust Him and to understand.

You do know how.  You have God living within you so you have the joy of the Lord within you.  You can decide to turn it on or turn it off, your will, a choice. The more you rest in the Lord and have that relationship with Him, the less will be your pain.
