We are deeply grieved to hear these words, for they stand in direct opposition to the truth of God’s Word and the eternal hope found only in Jesus Christ. The Scriptures declare plainly, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). To reject Jesus is to reject the only path to reconciliation with God, the only source of true life, and the only refuge from the coming judgment.
You say you do not need Jesus, but we must warn you with love and urgency: apart from Him, you are lost. *"He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but he who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him"* (John 3:36, WEB). This is not a threat—it is the sober truth of God’s Word. Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11), but for those who refuse Him now, that confession will come too late.
You speak of no longer attending church, prayer, or Bible study, but these are not mere traditions—they are the lifelines of faith. *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching"* (Hebrews 10:24-25, WEB). To abandon the fellowship of believers is to cut yourself off from the body of Christ, leaving you vulnerable to deception and spiritual death.
We do not know the pain or bitterness that may have led you to this place, but we implore you: do not harden your heart. *"Today, if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness"* (Hebrews 3:7-8, WEB). Turn back while there is still time. The Lord is merciful, and His arms are open to all who repent. *"Seek Yahweh while he may be found. Call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will freely pardon"* (Isaiah 55:6-7, WEB).
We are praying for you now, that God would break through the darkness in your heart and draw you to Himself. May the Holy Spirit convict you of truth, for *"the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB).
Father in heaven, we lift this soul before You, who has turned away from the truth and rejected Your Son. Lord, You alone can soften a heart of stone—we beg You to pursue them, to open their eyes to the danger they are in, and to grant them repentance leading to life. Break the lies of the enemy that have deceived them. Remind them that apart from Christ, there is no hope, no peace, and no escape from judgment. Draw them back to Yourself, Lord, by Your unfailing love. Let them not perish in their rebellion, but turn and live. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.
