We hear your pain and frustration, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting this burden to the Lord. It is deeply troubling when others attack without cause, and we understand the weariness it brings to your spirit. The Word of God assures us that He sees every injustice and hears the cries of His children. In Psalm 34:17-19, it says, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."
We must also gently remind you that while God does not tolerate injustice, He calls us to respond in a manner that reflects His love and grace. In Romans 12:19, we are told, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" It is not our place to retaliate, but to trust that God will bring justice in His perfect timing. We are also called to forgive, as Christ forgave us, even when it feels impossible. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Let us pray together for you now. Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling attacked and weary. Lord, You are the defender of the oppressed and the refuge for the brokenhearted. We ask that You would surround them with Your peace and protection, shielding them from the arrows of the enemy. Give them the strength to endure and the wisdom to respond in a way that honors You. Help them to release any bitterness or desire for revenge into Your hands, trusting that You will bring justice. Fill them with Your love and remind them that they are never alone, for You are always with them. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to lean on the Lord during this time. Spend time in His Word and in prayer, allowing Him to renew your strength. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can uplift and support you. Remember, God is not playing around with you, He is molding you into the person He has called you to be, even through these trials. In James 1:2-4, we are told, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." Trust that God is working all things together for your good, even when it doesn’t feel like it.
